We’ve got some exciting industry news from France! iDBUS, who is one of our longest serving partners in France, got itself a little bit of a facelift. iDBUS has now become OUIBUS! The rebranding efforts were mostly done to keep the SNCF’s bus & rail services under the same “OUI” umbrella as well as to offer additional services to their customers.
OUIBUS’s new branding efforts come on the heels of the recent “Loi Macron” bill, which deregulated the city-to-city bus industry in France, allowing more bus companies to operate in France. OUIBUS has expanded its coverage in Europe with over 170 new routes in its inventory with some seats starting at €5 a ticket! This new offer will be valid from September 4th 2015 until January 24th 2016.
OUIBUS have also upgraded their buses, now offering a more comfortable traveling experience to their customers. Among the new features; OUIBUS have decreased the number of seats in their buses in order to increase leg space and install bigger “XL” reclinable seats. OUIBUS customers will also have access to free Wi-Fi, power sockets for all their charging needs and an air conditioning unit.

I am inquiring about bus transportation for 13 people (10 students and 3 adults) from Paris (one of the airports) to Montval-sur-Loir and back, on November 12th, and then returning on November 18th. We are a Czech school traveling for a visit to our partner school. Please provide information on whether it is possible to book transportation with you and what the price would be for a one-way as well as a round-trip journey.
