Bus turned up late and was listed as simply going to Marseille on the board at the Sants bus station. There was no mention that along the way it would be stopping at Beziers, Montpellier and Avignon. A large number of people were waiting at the bus station and I'm confident that many of them missed their bus as it wasn't clear where it was going and the driver lacked the English skills to communicate it. When the bus arrived, the driver jumped out and listed the names of several French cities, and that was the only indication I had that the bus was heading to my destination (Avignon). The bus left very soon after arriving, so there was little time for the confusion to be cleared up. I was quite anxious that I had somehow ended up on a direct trip to Marseille. The ticket I bought indicated that the bus should have bathrooms, but it did not. There was a wifi network available but I could not find out the password and was not confident that the driver would have been able to understand me had I asked.

There was vomit with napkins just laying over it on the bus floor. The bus was about 1.5 hours late. The staff themselves were very friendly though.
