Hey there, Busbud is looking for a Senior Tech Lead Full-Stack Developer to join the User Acquisition squad!

The role

As a Senior Tech Lead Full-Stack Developer within the User Acquisition squad, you will stay updated with the most recent changes related to SEO/SEM as well as new and growing platforms for reaching our customers. You will experiment and discover which channels and tactics are sustainable, and do analyses to understand who your best customers are and attract more of them. Conduct user research to understand how users move through your site, what actions they take and what's stopping them from completing. In addition, you will research, investigate, experiment and implement new languages, technologies & platforms (such as progressive web applications, HTTP/2, WebRTC) and new features to make our site even faster and deliver more functionality.

How can you impress us?

  • Senior level experience as tech lead/engineering manager with a passion for leading and developing a team
  • You are willing to take on any task to help reach your squad goals. You can touch backend and frontend alike, even though you may have a preference somewhere.
  • You have multiple years of experience developing, testing, releasing and supporting code that you have written. With your experience, you often can identify the potential for a problem before it happens and can help shape decisions to prevent issues before they get to production.
  • You have had your fair share of technical successes and failures in the past and leverage those experiences in your decisions.
  • You are sought out for technical guidance. People respect and trust your opinions.
  • You absolutely love what you do, you are detail-oriented and you are always keen to invest in your future by learning new things.
  • You're comfortable with (or can quickly ramp up on) some key ingredients in our tech stack: JavaScript, NodeJS, React, Redis, Postgres, CDNs and Heroku.
