The role

The mission of the SEO Analyst is to utilize data and metrics to drive organic growth and visibility for Busbud. This role is pivotal in enhancing our online presence, increasing website traffic, and ensuring our content ranks prominently on search engine results pages.

As the SEO Analyst, you will be responsible for providing data reports and trend analysis to support leading the development and implementation of SEO strategies to improve the company's organic search rankings and drive relevant traffic. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, content creators, and developers to optimize our website, monitor performance, and stay abreast of industry trends.

What you can expect from the opportunity

  • Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and Google Analytics.
  • Create and present regular reports on SEO performance and progress.
  • Support executing comprehensive SEO strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Conduct keyword research to identify high-value opportunities for content optimization.
  • Optimize on-page elements such as meta tags, headings, content, and internal links.
  • Collaborate with content creators to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content production.
  • Identify technical SEO issues and work with the development team to implement solutions.
  • Stay updated with search engine algorithms and industry trends to adapt strategies.
  • Provide SEO recommendations for website structure and user experience improvements.

How you can impress us

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in SEO with a track record of using data to improve organic search performance.
  • Proficiency with data analysis and reporting.
  • Prior experience in the travel or tech industry is a plus.
  • Experience with content management systems and website optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends.
  • In-depth understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
  • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Google Search Console, etc.
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website development concepts.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
