Whether it’s visiting loved ones, or celebrating the New Year in Time Square, traveling in the US is undeniably popular during the holiday season. Your first instinct may be to hop on a plane or drive to your destination, but did you know that intercity bus travel rivals other modes of transportation in terms of getting the best bang for your buck? Taking the bus in the US is less expensive than both the train and plane – which leaves you with plenty of leftover cash to buy those Christmas presents.

Hitting the road during the holiday season is already a popular means of travel. AAA recently speculated that roughly almost 50 million Americans would travel 50 miles or more on their way home for Thanksgiving weekend and that approximately 90 percent were to travel via road trip. The bus is another way to get from point A to point B using ground transport – and it also helps you save on gas money while allowing you to kick back and relax as the experts get you to your destination.
