Orléans Express now available on Busbud

Busbud’s users can book Orléans Express tickets on its international platform.

Every month, more than 2 million travelers use Busbud’s desktop and mobile platforms to book their bus tickets from all around the world. Now, these explorers can finally use Busbud to purchase their bus tickets from Montreal to Quebec City and anywhere else from Orléans Express’ extensive coverage in Quebec.

Marie Hélène Cloutier, Vice-President of Passenger Experience, Marketing & Sales comments on the renewed partnership: “We’re ecstatic to partner with Busbud, which offers a great product for international travelers that are unaware of the local bus transportation landscape. Busbud will allow the Orléans Express brand to get more recognition beyond our borders.”

“We are delighted to partner with the leading intercity bus company in Quebec. With inventory in over 60 countries, the opportunities to work with a partner that’s based in our home town are rare, so this is a real pleasure. Orléans Express routes have always been among the most requested by Busbud users, so we are more than happy to be able to offer them now.” explains Marin Vallée, Director of Strategic Alliances and Partnerships at Busbud.

The start of a new chapter for Busbud

In 2014, Orléans Express was the first bus operator to sell its tickets on Busbud. Students from Montreal and Quebec City benefitted from an extensive promotion that was exclusively offered on Busbud. However, due to Orléans Express’ restructuring of its technical infrastructure, the partnership was put on hold. In the two years since the end of the initial partnership, Busbud has become the bus booking platform with the most extensive coverage in the world.

LP Maurice, Busbud’s CEO & Co-Founder reflects on this renewed partnership:

“In nearly two years, we’ve added over 530 bus operators from over 60 countries on our platform. Busbud has become the most complete bus booking platform in the world with over 2 million travelers using our service every month and we were able to sign distribution partnerships with the biggest online travel players on the market. Despite this massive growth, there was something profoundly missing on our platform: Quebec! The entire team is proud to serve more routes in our own backyard and to send travelers from all walks of life to visit our beautiful province.”
