Myself and my partner we’re travelling to Quebec for her birthday. We arrived at the bus terminal in Montreal 30mins early to find out when we are boarding our bus is cancelled due to weather yet buses prior to that were cancelled and no one contacted us. We rescheduled to 3pm from which yet again no staff contacted us stating our bus was cancelled which wasted our money and time. I now rescheduled for the following day and had to pay extra in taxis and in hotel Fees that I booked for the night. Have the decency to contact me and let me know it’s cancelled in advance when prior buses were cancelled and the weather wasn’t changing. Ridiculous!!! Let’s see if tomorrow happens at all.
I was surprised when the bus was almost full when it got to be to the station. It was my first time to book the Orléans Express bus. We went to the station one hour before but sat all the way at the back because there were no available seats. Also, it would have been great if there was some assistance to find seats for my kids, 7 and 10. People were indifferent and my husband had to request to exchange seats so me and my daughter could sit together.
So glad I cancelled my rental car and we took the Express bus to Quebec from Montreal! Bus ride was much more pleasant than me driving on my own. The driver was friendly, and efficient. The bus left on time and even arrived in Quebec just a bit early. The bus was very clean, positive experience!
So easy, no stress - line up, friendly greeting by driver, check in, hand over bag, sit down and relax. Driving standard excellent, seating comfortable and clean. Booking online easy. Couldn't be happier.
