Overall a good experience. Mendoza bus station isn't the greatest and the woman at the Andesmar counter (who run the Nevada service to Santiago) wasn't very clear about which platform the bus was leaving from but we found it anyway. Staff on the bus were much friendlier and helpful especially with immigration procedures at the Chilean border. Bus was comfortable and got snacks plus a sandwich which we weren't expecting. Slightly late departing and arriving but less than 15 mins so no real issues. Would travel this route with this company again.
the trip was great but had nothing other than ticketing to do with Nevada. The kiosk at the station was closed and it turned out the bus was run by another company. only the help of a member of station security got me to the right place for a non-Nevada bus. just a confusing mess.
Everything was great! Was so impressed by the guy running up and down the aisles with snacks and hot water for tea/coffee. Also really happy there were USB plugs!
Only downside was one rude staff members at Mendoza bus station. But everything else made up for him.
Awful! Rude staff, one of who came round with a cup to beg for tips (No reason given), bus over 3.5 hours late to arrive, no communication from staff about the delays or what to expect at customs. I have a bad leg and they did nothing to help - I had to sit on the floor waiting at security and bag check for over 3 hours, wasn't offered to go first (as airline staff would normally do) or any assistance. No medical supplies in board apparently either. Refused to open toilet waiting in line for customs so I had to walk painfully across a long distance several times. Food given out very late. Extremely loud, horrid kids film played for hours waking up passengers and that I could hear over my kindle turned up to full volume, said theyd turn it down but didn't. Awful, awful journey.
