Amtrak Grand Junction Eugene recent customer reviews
The train was very late at all stages. The man that was attending the car was very rude and hostile towards me from boarding where he gave me the wrong seat ticket and eventually through it away so he could yell at me for not having one. I had the feeling he wanted me to be left in the desert stranded. then, when I transferred trains, and hour and a half late, I went up on a completely full train to go to sleep for less than 4 hours. I went to check on my bag when I woke up and it was gone. The conductor said one man got off with a black duffel bag in the middle of the night in between Sacramento and Klamath falls. An elderly woman that was on the lower level seats said she seen three kids rummaging through bags in the night. I lost that bag and all of my clothing. The worst experience on a train so far. The trip took two days with many delays. No stops where I could get food off the train and I believe only three station stops where I could smoke. Very dissatisfied and I will try to take a bus or any other route next time.
