Overall I was not satisfied with the service of the company. I paid to be on the lower deck of the bus for a comfortable ride however I feel this wasn’t comfortable and will not be paying the extra money for this in the future. The reason being is.. the chairs are uncomfortable, no pillows, the air conditioning was super cold at night (no blankets provided) we asked staff to increase the temperature but he said he was unable to do so. The USB sockets are unreliable.
Bus showed up on time, but didn't leave for some reason until long after everyone was settled. Then we were about five hours late to our destination. Almost double the estimated trip time. When we arrived we were told to take a different bus than the one our hostel recommended because it was late and the other one was unsafe at that time of night. Made the trip a lot more of a hassle for us. Also the A/C was very weak.
We got the date wrong and they changed the ticket no problem at the ticket office for no charge , no hassles . No English but we got the job done. One thing to note was that the air conditioning rained down on a lot of passengers , luckily bus not full so we all could move seats .
Very comfortable. Difficult to understand sometimes as information about the service stop etc was not given in English. The driver seemed to have lots of difficulty driving up hills. Very happy with the baggage storing system.
I was at the back of the bus as I bought the last seat. The toilet door seat was loose, and so kept hitting my chair and back against the door frame for most of the journey, until we tied a jumper to the handle and a mounted handle. There is also no wifi which I don't usually moan about, but for a 30 hour journey is a little inconvenient.
Worst bus experience I've had, 30 hours of uncomfort. The bus was run by a different company to start with, it was so old and shaky. The toilet didn't flush from the beginning so the whole bus absolutely stank. There was no drinking water. The driver didn't care even after we all voiced our concerns. It ended up being
4 hours late, and we have no idea why as there was only a bit of traffic between Feira do Santana to Salvador, that's it. Everyone on the bus deserves some type of compensation, it was horrible.
Although the bus left and arrived a bit late, the general experience would have been the best bus trip i have ever experienced except for a fellow traveller's mishap. The nauseating smell meant the last two hours was quite unpleasant, and I would've wished the bus to be cleaned or emptied before we continued. The seats were simply delightful; they were the best I've ever sat during any of my travels, bar none.
I’ve travelled around South America for 5 months and been on far better buses for the price. 68USD for this bus, the seat doesn’t recline fully, the Air conditioning was bad, there’s limited phone chargers and the bus took 5 hours longer than advertised. Not worth the money at all. I expect better for these prices.
At the beginning, when they landed, they gave me a ticket with number 52 which was not on the bus and was forced to be on the street until everyone entered the bus, but after my requests to find out and find my place no one responded I had to take other places, although I chose these places! Then I and all the other passengers were very cold on the bus, at my request to change the temperature the driver did not change the temperature and we continued to freeze for 6 hours, now I feel ill!
