The bus is fine. But, after about 2 and half hours, our bus got to some kind of police station, where we spent more than 2 hours. Nobody explained anything, but, apparently, they were searching for illegal things of some sort
The bus trip was great. The bus is comfortable and has a toilet and wifi. We arrived late but because of an accident on the road, otherwise all went smooth.
It was very uncomfortable, my seat was broken and the bus driver did nothing to find a remedy. It was extremely cold because the air conditioning worked all the time during the night, in winter and no blankets were provided. I caught a cold. The driver was using his phone to talk while driving, at the same time he was smoking, despite smoking was prohibited. I will never, ever use pluma again.
Bus was really comfy and drivers made sure to let us know how long we had at each stop and accounted for everyone before we left. Only problem was that the on board WiFi didn’t work that well but we weren’t expecting WiFi anyway so this didn’t bother us much.
Paid extra for the leito option/ free drink/ private bathroom and entertainment - the seats were bigger and comfortable however no free drink or entertainment and there was just one toilet onboard everyone was using! Not happy for paying a lot extra and did not receive. The light above my head did not work either so was unable to read my book.
The bus broke down at 1030pm and all passengers were left to sit on the bus at a gas station for 5 hours without anyone explaining anything to us. I had paid extra for this bus to have a more comfortable seat and to arrive at Foz do Iguaçu early enough to enjoy my day. A second bus that was already full of passengers arrived and we were made to move our bags to that bus and wake people up to share seats. We arrived more than 5 hours late to our destination with absolutely no compensation.
I think the whole service is pretty awesome. The drivers were AMAZING, they helped me to understand where to go and what was going on despite not speaking Portuguese. The seats were comfy and water was provided. The air conditioning could be better but I’m a Canadian who isn’t used to hot weather haha
The Aircondition was very very cold and everyone got a cold night, I think the driver tried to heat up but not possible . I think the temperature should be 21 degree all day long We are still coofing
The bus was comfortable and the temperature was good. The toilet was overflowing only a quarter of the way into the journey and couldn’t be used until it was cleaned São Paulo . The wi-fi didn’t work for us as foreigners but locals were fine . The attendant on the first part of the journey did not help at all as we only spoke English He ignored us but the attendant on the last part of the journey was very good and supported us even tho he couldn’t speak English. Our journey too 28 hrs instead of 24hrs .
I wished to get more information because the bus was broken. I just got information of the other passengers. It’s also bad that we waited 5 hours or something on the highway. No discount or something...
I was charged 290reals on 2 occasions for a ticket to iquacu because I missed my transfer in São Paulo following my bus arriving 2.5 hours late in São Paulo. This resulted in me and my friends having to find a place to stay in São Paulo. I did try and exchange my ticket as well and I was inside of the window with which this was allowed but this request was denied for an unknown reason. Following this I was fined a further 45reals for missing the first bus even though it was completely out of my control. The man in the ticket office was very unhelpful as well.
bus confortable but the driver and his teamate where not nice and always forgotting to turn on the wifi after every pause. To finish the flush was not working.
I think the bus got there on time, but there was another bus in our platform so we had to wait for them to leave. We left Sao Paulo at 9:15 instead of 9:00. We got to Iguazu on time
Overall a good bus trip from Sao Paulo to Iguazu. Only problem was we didn't know how long the breaks were but I guess we should of learnt a bit more Portuguese. Comfy bus and bus arrived on time. Felt very safe.
The bus itself and the staff were great but the bus arrived late by about 45 minutes and arrived late to our destination by 3 hours which meant we had to cancel plans we had for that afternoon, which considering we only had 1 full day apart from the day we were arriving in Foz do Iguaçu, we were very dissatisfied.
