The trip met all of my expectations. Boarding with the electronic ticket and picture ID was simple. The bus was modern and clean and I appreciate the fact that the windows were very clean for the scenic trip over the Andes. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We felt secure, which is good. Problem was delay of 1 hr at departure and 2 hrs at arrival. Worst was the meals: Quality was very good but at departure we received a dulce de leche cookie and a the, then nothing until 11:30 pm, whereupon we we got a snack that should heve been served in the afternoon and a hot meal, which should have been our dinner, all at once!

The trip itself was fine. I had read some reviews before and thought the worst but the bus was as good as I remember the last time I was in South America 20 years earlier. I had trouble finding the bus company's ticket window going from Santiago de Chile to Mendoza because of all the names on the ticket but in the end it was Andesmar and the drivers were professional, the bus was clean and the view from the Andes, great. I'd recommend Andesmar. No movies shown and they over used the air conditioner but phone chargers worked.

The bus was cancelled and we were not informed beforehand. There were no more buses for at least 3 more days so we ended up stuck with no options.

The bus smelled very bad, the seats were filthy, there we bug's and insects crawling over the seats. Insects fell on me from the overhead storage. The seats and footrest were falling apart. This was the worst bus journey I have ever been on.
