Comfortable seat & prompt start but 1. Charged twice for the same journey, Lugo to Burgos. 3 connecting buses. 2. Signs at Burgos station said connecting bus for Burgos to Bilbao would be 15 min. late. 3. It didn't arrive at all. All alternative tickets to Bilbao were sold out. No staff available on the bus station , to help customers in the evenings. 4. Had to pay for overnight stay and extra meals in Burgos despite having already paid for the same in Bilbao. Have booked onto ( and again paid for) a bus to Bilbao, the following day. It will arrive more than 20 hours behind my original schedule.

Overnite travel with drivers radio on talk/chat show too loud. No ability to sleep frand my of bus. Asked how to continue to San Sebastián as injured leg at a stop so had to change plans for Bilbao and was made to feel stupid/embarrassed and left worrying outside bus till it was about to depart before being told by replacement driver I could purchase ticket on platform, mad rush and again embarrassed as waited for me. Should have just stayed on bus and said nothing! As am international tourist from other side if the world this was my worst experience in Portugal and Spain in past 3 weeks.
