Half an hour late leaving which meant our time at our destination was reduced. Very smelly bus and air conditioning not working. People arguing over their seats. Then return bus was over half an hour late which was very frustrating considering we were late arriving at our destination so had to rush round the Krka park to be back for 17:00 them the bus didn’t show up on time anyway. Bus driver was very rude. Also the buses didn’t sound in good condition, very bumpy and noisy, seemed to struggle up the hills.
I have one thing to add regarding printing tickets - its not possible! I was booking my trip in a very short period, far away from home, on the street practically without a printer .
(Like most people )
The driver was amazing and full of understanding.
The seat is not in a good condition, some could be. adjusted some could not. There is a little space between the seating row so, it's not that comfortable comparing to other bus service even the price is competitive. The staff did not speak English even a little bit. There is no toilet in the bus.
The heating on the bus was weird. It was super hot for most of the ride because the heater was on. And the cooling system wasn’t works for many of the seats. Also my bag got soaked when it was in the case under the bus. Paying to put my bag under a bus for it to get soaked... not a big fan. So not the best bus ride
Awful service. The bus was in very poor condition and the toilet was out of service. The bus driver was rude and swerved dangerously. Several passengers got up at one point to check that the driver was okay and not falling asleep. Very scary trip. Overall horrible service and will never travel with this company again.
When buying my bus ticket I saw it was an electronic ticket. On the email I received it indicated that it was okay to show the ticket on my mobile.
However on the bus the conductor was highly irate that I did not have a printed ticket and threatened to throw myself and other people without printed tickets off the bus.
If i could give negative stars then i would. The bus was late, there were chicken bones on the seat and staff were rude. The email stated we could use a mobile device as a ticket but the staff member screamed at me and threatened to throw me off. He was extremely aggressive and was getting right in my face. Im a solo female and i was very frightened and upset. I would rather walk back then take this bus again.
Staff very helpful and got me to Zadar ...tricky as it involved a change of buses that I didn't know about. Staff looked after me and ensured I wasn't stranded in some random part of Croatia. Would book again.
Horrible experience, awfull bus and mentally insane personal off the bus. Really psicopat, weird and no respect of fisical space. Felt insecure all the time. The bus arrived extra late without any explanation only insane guy who shout us.
just 10 minutes before Podgorica the full bus went to a service station and let renew both fronttyres. So in the end, we arrived 1 h late in Podgorica. In Podgorica they did not print out my e-ticket, so I was forced to buy a new ticket, otherwise I would not reach the bus to Mostar. So I paid the double price. Everybody was very unfriendly, felt like in a timemaschine back to socialism.
Our bus arrived in Dubrovnik with 2 hours delay, we were trying to contact the company and asking on bus station information, however noone from company pick up the emergency and custumer service phones, neither any company representative contact the Dubrovnik bus station to advise about the delay. We were not sure if the bus would come or not and our accommodation room in Kotor was almost cancel due to late arrival. The driver charged us 10 hrk per back, even though online was written that each passenger is allowed to bring 2 bags free of charge, as well as we did not received any receipt about the extra charge. Not to mentioned that the bus is old smell swet and there is no wifi, even though its mentioned.
The staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. When we purchased the ticket, it advertised that the bus had WiFi, charging facilities and air conditioning. It also stated 2 checked bags would be free as well as 1 carry on. The staff demanded 20 Kunas for our luggage - we had no option but to pay. When we got on board the bus was quite old - no working WiFi and no charging facilities. The air conditioning was almost non existent and everyone was sweating like crazy. When we mentioned this to the staff they responded by saying “they were very comfortable”. My partner suffers from travel sickness and this heat made things 100 times worse. This was by far the worst journey I have made
Our bus broke down on the side of a highway, which I understand is out of the drivers control but some communication would of been appreciated, even if the driver didn’t speak English he could of told the Croatian speaking passengers who may of been able to translate to the rest of the passengers what was going on while we sat in a stinking hot bus for over an hour on the side of the road with no explanation at all.
Unfortunately my partner and I had a terrible experience. Our worst day in Croatia thus far. The bus was over 2 hours late. We arrived 45 minutes early like suggested, which made the wait time even more aggravating. When the drivers arrived they were not helpful and very disorganized.
They knew they were late it should have been clear which bus was which. Once the bus was confirmed we attempted to bring our baggage on the bus they said no to my suitcase but my partner only had a backpack they refused to let him on with. We gave them cash they said they wanted smaller bills not a 200 Kn??? After saying no we were not going to change the money they then accepted it and gave us the change that they had. (they had he perfect change?? They were just being difficult for no reason).
Once we finally paid and our bags were on the bus they told us that that bus was full to us and another couple that we had to go on another bus. To leave our bags on the one bus and go on the other as they were both going to Split.
This again made me feel very uncomfortable as I only speak English and nothing was being explained just hand gestures to get on the bus with out proper communication. All 3 bus drivers were extremely rude. I just felt after waiting for almost near 3 hours for this bus to arrive there would be a little more care.
He bus was supposedly stopped at the border so I can understand the drivers frustration. But unfortunately that is your job as a bus driver. It is also considered a service that we rightfully paid for. The hospitality over all I would rate 2/10 being thankful that we arrived safely.
If this review means anything. I would definitely have someone in higher authority ride along or check on this as a mystery passenger to evaluate your drivers.
Foreigners are arriving from all over the world it leaves a bad taste in everyone’s mouth.
All the best with your company I do not plan to ever take the bus in Croatia. Or suggest this to anyone in the future.
A friendly Canadian.
The driver was yelling at every passenger. He threw the luggage tickets twice on the outside bench and sat down and was not helpful. I was second in line with my 5yo and 3yo and he pushed us out of line because my ticket was not printed even though it was paid for and I showed him the tickets on phone with their reference codes. He got in the bus with everyone else on it so I had to say excuse me I am going on this bus with my kids and I have paid for my tickets let me on and he then got the reference codes and gave me paper tickets
Busbud is a bus search tool - we include GLOB routes, schedules and prices in our searches along with many other bus companies. You can compare prices, amenities and times by searching for a route.
