Maritime Bus receives praise for its comfortable buses and professional drivers, with some passengers noting the friendliness of staff. However, several reviews mention delays in arrival times and challenges with pickup points not being clearly communicated. Cleanliness concerns were also noted by users who felt that a deep clean was necessary for the bus interiors.
The bus arrived a few minutes late however life happens and that can be expected. The driver was calm, fast and efficient in getting the bus loaded and departing. The bus was a bit cold, we turned off the air vents, however I was cold and maybe not dressed appropriately but I know for the next time to dress warmer for the air conditioning. The stop locations were announced well, they were short however I felt that the driver should announce the expected length of the stop to allow passengers, that were getting off to smoke, bathroom etc, know when the bus expected to depart again. I did not use the bathroom, I used the outlet to charge my phone...convenient. Ride was smooth, seats were comfortable. The bus was smoothly unloaded and baggage given to passengers in a timely efficient way on arrival at my destination. I have taken the bus several times in the past few years and find it a quick and comfortable way to get from Antigonish to the Hfx airport.

Everything was good except one thing because this is my first time to travel using maritime bus so I’m not familiar where the exact pickup point then I was trying to call the number on the app but it’s just ringing no one is answering to help me where should I go.

The bus arrived at the pick up location 40 minutes late. We were forced to change buses in Aulac and were sent on a bus without air conditioning from Aulac to Moncton. When we were finally boarded on the next bus in Moncton we were then advised we were getting on another bus because of air conditioning issues again! So we disembarked the bus and had to collect our own luggage and wait inside the via rail terminal. We had to wait over an hour for the new bus to arrive. As a result of this debacle we ended up arriving in Saint John an hour late. The drivers were nice but the rest was disappointing.

There was nothing I didn't like about my trip. Very polite drivers, never felt unsafe, we arrived on time. The only issue was when I was boarding the new bus in Borden, the bus was quite full and all I could see "available", we're the two very back seats, however, they were not empty, there was a young girl that was laying across the two seats and was not moving to allow me to sit down! Finally, someone else offered me a seat beside them. The rest of my trip was great. I will travel with Maritime buscagain.
