The Mansfield location is a 7eleven, not enough info given here. I stored my luggage got a seat. When I got to Columbus the bus driver had too smart of a mouth.
Usually always take Barons Bus to and from Chicago. But will reconsider this next time. All charging outlets on this bus were not working. Some people rely on these for work and is the reason they choose Barons Bus over other forms of transportation. Very disappointed.
Poor customer support and service, bus cancelation was not intimated to passengers in advance and call support was not even answering when passengers called.
I don't recall the driver's name at the moment, but she was an absolute nightmare. Power-trip control freak, rude and condescending to EVERYONE on the bus, she LIED about the course of events and called the police on this couple and had them removed from the bus and ditched them out in the cold at 9:30pm in small town Indiana, the woman was 6 months pregnant. I really could go on and on about how she treated us, pretty sure no one on our bus left with a favorable impression of her. I use Barons for regional travel and it's usually very smooth, but I can say with 100% certainty that if she is still employed there, I won't be using Barons again.
Baron’s busses are very comfortable. The temperature on the bus was comfortable. The drivers are good, careful drivers for the most part. They got us to our destination safe and sound.
It wasn't an entirely bad experience, but I was late to my destination and I know a lot of people missed their connection bus. Being 30 mins late is unacceptable.
Nothing to complain about other than the bus drivers driving. Slamming on breaks, passing cars on back roads with cars coming on the other side of the road, honking horns at cars, giving riders a lot of anxiety instead of relaxation.
The WiFi didn't work properly and we couldn't wash our hands after using the bathroom. There was soup but no water. There weren't any disinfectant left in the bottle.
i know this was just one time. my first ride was great, but our bus was broken when it arrived in cincinnati and we sat for about an hour. our driver didn't notify us of anything.
Horrible! Bus station was closed. Leaving an 18 yr old girl left alone in downtown Cleveland in the middle of winter. No one would answer the phone at Barons bus. Had to reschedule for following day through Greyhound.
Don’t expect any covid precautions to be taken. The seats are uncomfortable and probably haven’t been cleaned. The staff seems nervous: overworked and underpaid but they did meet their deadlines.
The staff at station were rude and did not attempt to keep the noise down they allowed loud and annoying behavior from other passengers even laughing at them. The bus driver herself was amazing. She was the only pleasentful part of the entire experience. Even with having a flat tire that delayed us for over 2 hours she was stillthe best.
The driver left without 4 passengers who were waiting inside the depot. He never came to check for passengers inside, simply stopped outside and then left without us. We all missed our trip and were completely screwed over with no way to get the bus to come back for us. One man had a child custody hearing he was going to miss. Horrible mess. This driver completely screwed us over, and he was a few minutes late as well. The four of us were there on time.
I waited at the bus station at Wooster since 8:26pm for the bus scheduled to arrive at 8:30pm. The bus did not arrive till I left at 11:00pm. Called the Barron's bus customer service line and no staff was available to take my call. Was unable to track the bus until 10pm when I saw it was already approaching Columbus. I was not picked up at the Wooster Stop at all
Great experience I was really nervous this being my first time on a bus for a long distance. The bus driver was very nice and professional it was a smooth commute!
Never having gone by bus before, I was very pleased with the experience. The staff was very nice and helpful, mindful I had a cane and they were helpful, carrying my back pack to my seat and showing concern that I someone coming for me in Napoleon. I will definitely consider traveling by bus in the future.
