The Driver parked the Bus and went in somewhere. Only at 9:25 a.m. he came and put on the board, and opened the Bus for boarding. People were waiting. Bus left at 9:35 a.m. I think the Bus reached Cadiz at 1:05 p.m.
5 stops were made on what was suppose to be a direct bus. Staff wasn’t clear about where to put luggage and didn’t help/ monitor luggage. Stops weren’t announced clearly and people were confused about where to go.
One of the seats in front of me was broken, so the person sitting there couldn't straighten the back and almost had to lay down for his entire trip. Also, this meant that the person sitting next to me had very little space for her feet.
The bus was late leaving Tarifa. This was however not too bad. Going back to Tarifa from Cádiz i noticed the bus driver took another route. When I asked him about this, he told me he was going to Algeciras and I had to change bus there. This was not stated on the ticket. We arrived in Algeciras almost an hour later than I was supposed to be in Tarifa. There I waited half an hour until another bus came. This bus broke down in the middle of nowhere and i ended up being in Tarifa two hours later than scheduled.
The driver was so friendly and helpful to us. And so respectful of other passengers. He was a brilliant driver and coped with the narrow streets in the towns very well. A big bus for some of the roads!
This bus arrived on time and safely, which is the most important thing, but it really lacked in comfort compared to most other buses I have taken in Europe. It had no seat trays, no light, no screen, no WiFi and no drinks.
