Nice staff, lovely bus, took longer at Border crossing making the bus late, but under current conditions hardly surprising
Started off with finding the different address sent via email difficult to find and was a hotel adress when the location was further down the road. Didn't find the staff to pleasant and made wee in the park before leaving as no toilets on the bus. We traveled 2 hours and sat in the layby for 3-4hours with no explanation as to why. The bus was ok to sleep on and comfortable just shame no toilet as we didn't stop for toilet breaks. We got there on time so no trouble just caused us worry about what was going on in between as lack of communication
Overall service was great, but arrived in Bangkok4hrs later than it supposed to be. Said take14hrs but took 18hrs to reach the destination. Too many stop in cambodia along the way.
All in all a decent service. Staff was particularly on top of the situation at the Thai/Cambodia "Poi Pet" border crossing. Never lost sight of our group in the entire time we were going through the exit/entry process. In Siem Reap bit of a transfer process but was successful in reaching Phnom Penh. Left Bangkok at 1 AM, arrived in Phnom Penh at 5:30 p.m in the evening.
Great , very comfortable. From pnhom penh to poipet used sleeper bus. (Clean) and from poipet to bangkok used vip bus. The chair lookslike business class
Viral Bingham is the best bus service company in terms of connectivity between Cambodia and Thailand.Language Barrier is the only downside with the drivers and staff else its highly recommended.
Well this was a very uncomfortable journey from Sihanoukville to Bangkok. The first part of the journey was actually fine, until we crossed the border to the Thai side. After Thailand I had to figure out if my minivan is going to Bangkok and the driver said yes, only to drop me at Trat with no much explanation and asking me to wait for the next bus at the bus station that was coming in 2 hours!! When the next minivan finally came it dropped me off again in the middle of nowhere half way to Bangkok at 7.30 pm for me to wait for the next bus again for 2 hours. Luckily, that was the last time I had to change and the bus came to Bangkok at almost 1 am instead of 10.30 pm.
I choose thw hotel bus from Phnom Pehn but when we transferred bus aftee crossing thw boarder,we were just mixed in with the people who chose the seating bus so we don't have any seat available. I had no choice but to seat at the back seat,it was uncomfortable, very hor the aircon can't reach the back part and the seat was so small.
The bus was overbooked which resulted in me being kicked out of my seat and forced to share a single with someone else, after being yelled at for staff for someone that was not my fault and I had fully paid for my seat. Not only that, but it was overcrowded onto my seat with locals and staff yelling loudly at 3 am when everyone was trying to sleep. Absolutely awful experience, did not get what I had paid for at all.
when we finished with the immigration in bangkok, we have to wait for the bus to come, we were waiting for more than 1 hour, waiting is a problem because we were in the middle of the alley and a lot if people were passing by, theres no assurance or anything, or any updatea what has been happening, no chairs.
With Virak Buntham everything was fine, loved the bus, comfortable for a half day duration time. Staff did their job well. Loved the small bakery and water they provided for the trip.
Bus was late because of events that happened at the border plus trafficjam did its job aswell
I booked seats No.1&2,but the other tourists took and the bus staff didn't help anything for me.
I read your e-mail and went to the office to take the bus,but there wasn't the bus.I should go to the railway station to take the bus.
Everything good, comfortable chairs, nice stuff. Only one thing which was annoying, one of the employees listened loud music on the phone during the trip. It would be better if he use a headphones.
The bus didn’t let me know what to do at the Cambodian border and I was unable to meet up with the bus again - I had to buy a new bus. I would like recompensation
Bus was comfortable, pillows and bed especially. Blankets were good. There was a weird smell on the bus but not bad enough to worry about. Otherwise all good!
My husband is 6ft 4 and we were made to sit right st the back with two other very tall people. We had no room at all, meanwhile all the Asians got to sit at the front with heaps of legroom. We were chatting to the Asians and they had oy booked today, we booked in november!! The staffs English was appalling and they were abrupt and rude.
The arrival time to bangkok indicated on the ticket is completely wrong, even falsified: instead of 6.30 in the morning, it will be 2 or 3pm (it is now 13h24 and we are not yet in bangkok!)
The buses themselves were fine although we had to wait at the border for 3+ hours before we could board our next bus, which was an inconvenience. It meant that what should’ve been a 12 hour journey turned into a 17 hour journey.
We got to Bangkok at 00:20 instead of 20:45 like it said. We waited a lot of time for nothing and the last van's driver didn't drop us at the station written on the ticket (but far away)
