For some reason, my booking on the bus from Northampton to Boston for 12:15 pm August 24 never made it to my phone. I had to talk a lot to bus driver and operations guy in Hartford to ensure I got a timely ride home. Added to my anxiety as this trip had to do with a family death. Normally I would not bring this up but all I did was reschedule my trip to an earlier departure.

The station is only open a few days a week. When the bus is late and the temperatures are below freezing, it can be dangerous for the travelers to stand in the cold and wind for so long.
