The bus contrary to marketed had no working power sockets, no wifi on board, and as the most disappointing, it drove on the country roads iso highway extending the 180 km drive from Merida to Seville over 3h. Lots of music and loud chatting with passengers from the driver! Yes, I’m being bitter :)
the workers of Leda are on strike, by accident I arrive at the station at 15:55 and I was able to catch the only bus of that day I was going to Merida (40 Kilometros de Badajoz) and not to Badajoz, I had to call a relative to Who would pick me up in that city.
When booking the bus trip it did not indicate that there were several stops on the way. As bus drivers have limited English, need to have clear instructions about seating allocated or not and exactly the route and how many stops would be helpful. I had a very pleasant trip and staff were helpful within their scope.
Good trip even the bus was a little late. Nwvee mind that.
But what turns me off is that we have to print the online ticket. You don't accept a online ticket on the bus.
I am a pilgrim and therefore do not have a printer with me.
So get into business please.
The journey from Seville to Zafra was super... The return journey was a bit of a rush in the end. Bus was due at 10.10am Sunday -arrived just after n then after seeing the bus driver on his phone -another bus (bus.es) turned up and we had to change buses as apparently (my mum called me from the bus station as they were waiting for us to leave!) there was an issue with a tyre! Other bus wasn't as comfy as the Leda bus and departing at just after 10.30am left us a little rushed getting to the airport for our flight, from the bus station.
Several different buses were needed to get us to our destination. At Seville the screen was not working, the information office gave us no advice or incorrect advice, the bus driver checked our ticket and boarded us on the wrong bus, in essence returning us to our near our departure point. This cost us 6 hours covering an extra 200 km to return to Seville. The ticketing is poor, very difficult to read and there should be more information about changing buses. In the end the Leda bus driver was our saviour; she drove us back to Seville, talked to Portillo bus company and organised our forward journey.
