On time departure and arrival is what the passengers are looking for. I will be very happy if the bus for today afternoon to Houston is on time.
They cancelled my morning bus without telling me. Apparently all morning busses were cancelled for a whole week. I woke up early for the morning bus and caught an uber to the station. They didn't tell me until I asked a 4th guy where the bus was (3 people saw my ticket and pointed to where the busses were.) They gave me a ticket for a bus that left a whole 12 hours later. Not acceptable.
Oh, and the address for the bus terminal was wrong. It's 855, not 800.
The bus never showed up. Took forever to get someone on the phone. They gave me some other address to try to catch the bus. Went there & waited about 45 min more & it never showed up. Had to make alternate plans with greyhound to get to Dallas. Turimex is such an awful bus company!
Good staff. Not enough staff. buses not on time. No help after hours from turimex. Very good customer service claudia calderon in laredo, she is the only good thing about turimex very helpful.
Bus I'd booked running very late, though was transferred to another only slightly later one by helpful staff. Very hard to make out announcements re rest break etc.
Overall it was a good trip... the driver seemed friendly enough... the bus was a little old... and couldn't get the internet to work... but they are minor things
Ended up not taking the bus as I was told it was running 3 plus hours behind and we had to wait. The waiting area was nasty and had a used diaper in it.
The entire staff, including the driver spoke nothing but Spanish, which is problematic for someone who only speaks English. The station was in a bad neighborhood and felt unsafe. Bus was super late and there are no seatbelts on the vehicle.
This bus was in very good conditions, had USB for connection. but I think that they should stress of taking there trash with them. I was sitting in the back and I took it upon myself to pick up empty water and coke bottles that were left in the mesh pocket.
Everything was good till I found out that my seat was wet. My pants were wet and I requested a change of seat. The bus driver told me to pick other one. As the bus filled the person in seat #6 came into bus and I explained to him why I had changed. He was so kind that he let me stay in his seat.
There is no proper customer support is maintained. The bus didn't come at all and I cancelled my trip to Detroit due to this. When I reach customer care, they said I will be informed about bus status over call. I didn't get either a call or a text message.
Overall great experience. Chauffeur kept us at the border and begged us to give him a tip for helping with our luggage. He said it wasn't his job to help, but he wouldn't let us touch the luggage on our own. He kept us for about 20 minutes after customs had allowed us to leave talking to us and informing us why we needed to tip him as he walked down the bus with his hand out. This is not professional.
I will never travel with this company again. The bus was over two hours delayed. Crossing the border at Laredo took four hour. I missed the plane I was supposed to take thanks to this awful company.
I waited for 3 hours before deciding to book a Greyhound. The woman didn’t speak any English, the bus was coming from Mexico and was 3 hours late when I left. I have no idea if it ever arrived. Absolute mess, I booked a Greyhound that arrived on time.
Turimex was not my choice but the arrangement of another bus company. I didnt mind until the bus left late. I was not concerned because I had allowed 2 extra hours to make it to my consolate meeting in Laredo. It was after the 1am bus exchange for mechanico troubles is when the failure to be professional began to grow.
It is now 1:30 pm waiting to finish customs checks that I dream if what 9am arrival would have been before I disappointed the people relying on me!
Unfortunately it was not what I expected. The advertising on the internet promoted nice buses the one that I was on has nothing like the advertising promoted. In addition some drivers clearly says that thy were no supposed to bring the suitcases down but they do it if we give them(he) a tip. It was very unprofessional. In our way back from Mex. the bus (60) had a problem ( no light ) I do not know how the previos driver did not identified it. we wait there until we were changed to another bus. Thanks God the new driver identified the prob.
On internet, Turimex mentions that they offer Wifi and electrical connection on each seat for electronic devices, actually it was an old bus with no Wifi and no electrical power, it wasn't clean. Considering that it was a 12 hours trip and I was supposed to work on my laptop, it was the worst experience in my life in a bus
The people at the bus was very rude and I felt very uncomfortable the whole ride. I had to take a different stop rather than the one I intended to. I felt attacked and harrassed during the whole trip.
Bus was schedule to leave Greenville at 3:40. Bus arrived at the supermarket stop 5:07 pm.
The Bus driver took another 40 mins lunch which I didn’t have a problem he is entitled to a break.
My issues that is we was told to be there 30-40 early and then the shows up more than 2 hrs late.
