Driver was efficient, and line was long for check in,but we got thru in time to enjoy our room. I would suggest some chairs or benches for people to sit down.
The Good: The bus was on time in leaving and arriving at the destination. The Bad: One passenger had music playing that every passenger had to listen to as the bus driver did not intercede. The smell of the restroom was very strong on the return trip. The Greyhound buses need some TLC to improve the seat upholstery that is worn out and the restroom. To be competitive these should be done.
Terrible wait time (1hour 45 min) because there was no bus available. Communication during the wait was horrible because there was not nearly enough staff.
The problem was the bus was 45 minutes late to board and communications regarding the delay were spotty and wrong. Then, the bus made an unexpected stop in Newark! The bus driver, however, was fine and informative while the bus itself wasn’t luxe but clean and adequate.
We couldn't find the bus stop. The DIRECTIONS made NO sense. The directions said between 1270 Lexington Ave (at tour bus stop between Manhattan Commercial Bank & Krispy Kreme Donut) New York and a pizza restaurant. There is no stop near the pizza restaurant. The DIRECTIONS should have said IN FRONT OF KRISPY KREME DONUT!!! only.
Enjoyed the amazing bus driver
Did not enjoy greyhound 30 minutes late, with no alert or update
Did not enjoy smelling the bathroom stench for 2 1/2 hours
Watching other passengers put shirts, coats over their heads the whole time
Would think passengers who have seats next to restroom would receive a discount on ticket; especially when the tank isn’t empty.
It was indeed my first trip with Ourbus. I thought it somewhat pricey at first, but what isn't today. I did receive $20 free play which took the sting out. My only concern was seeing my return was via Greyhound. I have stopped traveling via this company for several reasons. I was very saddened to see Academy leave the Atlantic City circuit years ago. Their buses were exceptional!!
The bus had a problem with something but was there on time. The bus left out 20 minutes later but overall we arrived on time. I will use them again, a ride was smooth and I slept all the way.
I Will Ride Again, My Driver Was Great, Nice Smooth Ride. Best Bus Experience I've Had In A While, If Ever. I Will Recommend To Friends And Family... 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
30+ mins late. Had to leave the line because I was counting on being in Atlantic city on time. Maybe it was delayed even longer thats how long i've waited for
I was pleasantly surprised by Port Authority having assumed it would be like Penn Station. The information booth was right up front and very efficient. The bus was easy to find. The restaurant options were good and everything was clean and followed safety protocol. The bus was comfortable. I appreciated the power plugs. The station was walking distance to the hotel. The bus driver was very nice and helpful.
Very good and quick service. However, our driver was super rude and wanted absolute quiet on the bus which I feel is unreasonable. Other than that particular driver, the service was great.
The bus ac was not working and the interior temperature was over 95 before the driver decided to use the roof ventilation. Not only was the bus not checked for good operation before service, the passengers nearly had to mutiny before being heard. The only option offered was to turn the bus around and go back to nyc 1/2 way to the destination. Fii I Bally the roof ventilation made us cold but it was bearable.
Curious and informative driver's. She answered questions and was patient and Professional. The driver, she made the ride comfortable and relaxing. Thankful customer!
This was a horrible trip. The bus left at 11am, imstead of 10:30. We arrived in Atlantic City after 3pm. I did not receive a bonus, so I had to use my own money initially, to use the casino.
Finally, the tickets were overpriced for inferior service.
As a result, my trip to Atlantic City was horrible!
The bus was disgusting and hot- I had to sit in the back row and the engine underneath of me was definitely not properly functioning which made the floor of the bus burning hot, my bag started to melt and I burnt myself when I felt the floor. I also almost passed out multiple times throughout the ride since it was so hot and delayed.
