People were playing music loud the entire 5 hr ride and nothing was done even though complaints were logged.it was an overnight ride and most wanted to sleep but couldn't.
The first half of our journey was okay. However, when we got to our connecting bus we were told they had departed 15 minutes early and the next bus to Las Vegas was 6 hours away. Very disappointing experience. The staff at San Bernardino were very helpful and apologetic, however, this happens regularly and when they speak to higher up it falls on deaf ears.
The trip was way too long, it stopped at San Bernardino for 40 minutes, then at Barstow for another 20. The overall trip took almost 7 hours! And no social distancing at all was practiced at any time
The bus was delayed over 4 hours at the beginning, partly due to the road conditions but also partly due to the Greyhound service. The coach itself is new and comfortable and passengers are well behaved. That doesn’t make up for the loss of time tho. We would definitely opt to fly next time u see we are still on the road now more than 9 hours since the original bus schedule! Not worth the money saving if we could book a flight earlier on.
While it was appreciated that the driver did what he could to get the whole busload of people to Las Vegas, weather conditions and traffic conditions need to monitored in order to accurately provide a reasonable travel time. Everyone on the bus lost precious time that they could have spent with their friends and family since we spent 26 hours on the bus. While the situation was handled as much as it could in the moment, it should also have been something avoidable given some foresight.
I haven’t took greyhound since I was a little kid but I’m very surprised to the major change and I was happy with my ride back home the driver was very professional and had a great sense of humor I will be choosing greyhound for now on for my travel
The service is good but the only problem I got is when where looking for the office of greyhound in sanfo... we had ask people at that area to where is the greyhound bus stop.. there's no sign where to go.. then we had to run from bay 25 to bay 5 den went down to 2nd where the office of the greyhound.. this should be improve
The worst experience ever!! The bus was 3 hours late because there was “no driver” at the time. The station is dirty and the security’s employees are very rude. I will never travel with it anymore.
Some chick talked on the phone extremely loud 90% of the ride. Some dude played music on his phone the whole ride. Other tham that driver did a great job. I enjoyed my ride with no complaints.
The destruction of bus said there would be outlets. There weren’t any outlets. The bus smelled like feet and mashed potatoes! When trying to get on the bus.. I spoke to the driver very politely and positively and all he did was point at me phone and point at his phone. I just didn’t get any customer satisfaction except getting A to B which is great!
Great experience the driver was very nice and the bus was very clean. He was a little behind but that was because the bathroom on the bus was broken so he stopped so we could use the public bathroom
There were two small shuttle busses that showed up. One driver knew what was going on, the other was just yelling and seemed very confused. We left late due to the confusion. At some point we picked up too many people and two people were let off the bus due to over capacity. There was no WiFi, no power outlets. Overall, not a great experience.
Out eta was 4:30am though, it’s 10:40am and we are still on the way over an hour far. The driver said the bus was strained in the midle of traffics because of an accident ahead, but we knew that we had detouring option. This trerrible trip ruined my business schedule, and I would never take this bus forever.
It took 7 hours n overall the seats are VERY UNCOMFORTABLE. Bolt bus is far more comfortable n greyhound buses are too old n nasty they need an upgrade on all the buses. Better seats n a makeover. Thats all.
We arrive 10min before boarding. But the security said we have to sit down since the bus was late. So we did it. An hour after I went ask her back, she said " no more information". After few houres waiting, I decided to ask again to another security staff. He said "I announced it on time". Ok maybe we didn't hear it, but we always checked the screen which we realized after, wasn't correct... But the security staff I was mad at her !! We lost our first night in Las Vegas. And finally, the bus smelt weed all the way. People were so scaring, we really felt unsafe in this bus. And unfortunately in Las Vegas Greyhound bus station, it was worse. We ran away from this place as soon as we got a Uber. Security should be present but also EFFICIANT for the safety of the customers. In Las Vegas, security doesn't do anything ...
Firt time taking a greyhound, when i bought the ticket i saw it said Outlet, Wifi and some other stuff, the bus smelled like mold the seats were not in good condition and the outlets did not work, my cell phone died and i was not able to contact my family when i arrived at Las Vegas.
The staff and bus drivers need training in how to treat their customers and in conflict resolution. After reciting the rules that included using earplugs when using cellphone set et al this particular driver decided to play his music at a volume that over half the bus could hear. He did this during the entire 6 plus hour trip. Even after 11 pm and nearing midnight he played his music. How unprofessional and insensitive can a Greyhound employee be?
The bus was 1:30hs late fron LA to LV. The staff was not informed about how long thw bus was going to be delayed and people really did not know what to do. Finally, the whole trip got to Vegas 1 extra hour late without explanation.
