The bus broke down midway in the middle of the night, so we had to change bus, but no one came to wake us up. The bus itself did not have WiFi and the charging ports were difficult to reach. The seats were also not comfortable as they don't recline well.
Llega Florianapolis a la hora pero el embarque se demora como 20m por lo que sales 20m después de la hora planificada, el pasaje decía que se llegaba a Sao Pablo a la 21hrs del día 4 y termina llegando a las 4 hrs del día 5, debido a esto yo pierdo mi pasaje de conexión que lo había comprado para la 1 del día 5, yo no poseo wifi por lo que no pude hacer algún tipo de cambio de pasajes, una lastima que las cosas no funcionen por acá
We got a bus from São Paulo to Curitiba, the bus left late so arrived 30 minutes late. It was hard to find the company in São Paulo station to print the tickets as eucatur was under a different name and this was not obvious.
We had to wait for the bus, who was late. En then after a 10 min. Drive we had to stop so they would clean the bus. So in other words we had to waite another 45 mins. But from then was everything perfect.
In Foz we got on a nice Executivo bus that was new and comfortable. Staff were organised and check in went smoothly. But we stopped for our dinner break and without telling anyone on the bus they switched buses. Our carryons were taken off but not our waters or other small items. We complained and they finally checked the old bus again. The replacement bus was much older and less spacious.
The change of buses was chaotic. We were told that the new bus that arrived was ours. And then told that it wasn’t. Only to find out that it was infact our bus. The bathroom on the second bus was filthy and unusable.
The disruption due to the protests obviously changed schedules which I appreciate but there was no communication from the company. We went to the station the day before our trip & were told to come at 4 and we would leave 4:45, not 6pm. Seemed odd as no email had been sent to tell us this. Then when we turned up at 4, we were told we would definitely leave at 6. Then we stopped at a station at 9pm and the staff had no idea what was going on. One man checked our ticket 8 times before declaring we would switch bus, two other people said we stayed on the current bus. Eventually we were told to get back into the original bus. It was ridiculous that they couldn’t all agree where the two of us were supposed to go. Eventually arrived, obviously quite late. Coach was basic coach. Not like other night buses. No working USB points and no hot water or snacks.
My bus was supposed to leave at 6;10 am. Eucatur office opened at 6:00 but the attendant was there before and was not interested in helping me a few minutes ahead of time. I would have missed the bus but it was almost an hour late, so I was saved by the delay, however I missed my next bus because it arrived late. Overall, the trip went well except for these two things, but I would travel with Eucatur again
Bus left station two hours late, stopped immediately and unnecessarily for lunch. Ac dripped water and only functioned intermittently. Bus blew a tire in the middle of the night. Ac stopped working. Slowly the bus engine also stopped working, could not get it started. Instead of calling another bus, we sat waiting for hours for a mechanic, only 80km away from a major city. I had to hitch a ride from a different bus company, buy a different ticket to my final destination, miss two meetings and reschedule a third, as well as arguing to change my return ticket
