Our first bus smelled like feces and was disgusting, as well as was 2 1/2 hours late. Due to this, we missed our bus in Charlottesville to Baltimore and had to be taken to Richmond. When we got to Richmond at 11:30 a.m., we were told that we would then have to take a bus to Norfolk instead and that the bus to Norfolk would not be there until 6:45 p.m.. As we watched, at least two more buses left to Norfolk and we were told we were not able to board. The driver for the last bus we asked about at 4:15 p.m. ended up leaving without 9 people who were supposed to board because he left 15 minutes early. The bus that we had to take from Richmond to Norfolk came two hours late, so I ended up having my father pick my husband and I up from Hampton, Va instead, otherwise we would have missed the bus to Salisbury anyways. We were highly aggravated and will never recommend greyhound buses to anyone.
