In past weeks, since Hurricane Harvey first hit Texas, Busbud has worked around the clock to assist our customers directly impacted by the recent back-to-back hurricanes in Texas and Florida. We are actively helping hundreds of customers who have contacted us to change their bus travel itineraries and seek alternative travel options to evacuate regions at risk, or reach loved ones in distress.
Here are a few things we’ve done different over the past days and weeks to help:
- Our customer service team at Busbud has extended its business hours to offer maximum support to affected users and their families.
- Busbud also allocated a special hurricane fund to help travellers with bus trip cancellations.
- We’ve worked hand-in-hand with our bus partners to actively reduce impacts caused by service disruptions and update bus schedules as frequently as needed to keep travellers informed regarding departure and arrival times, as well as possible delays, cancellations and other disruptions of service in a timely manner.
