ADO User Reviews
ADO receives praise for its modern and well-equipped buses, with clean facilities and friendly staff. Passengers appreciate the punctuality on some routes. However, there are mentions of overly cold air conditioning, inconsistent entertainment quality, delays in arrival times on certain trips, and issues with seat comfort during longer journeys.
It was good but it wasn't clear where to catch the bus back when we got dropped off at the side of the highway to go to Tulum ruins. Luckily there was a tourism rep, Diego, (working for the City I guess) who gave us a free map and directions to walk to the ruins (even tho he may have been trying to interest us in hiring a personal guide to make our experience more informative) and we were able to go to him again after to help figure out where to catch the bus back. He informed us we needed to get on a 'collectivo' (those white coloured tourist vans) to bring us up the highway further to get to the ADO station. It was cheap tho...only 40 pesos.

The trio itself was good, the driver taking care of safety and ease. The discomfort I had experienced was lack of healthy food options at the Oaxaca terminal. Aside from snacks, each food kiosk primarily consisted of sandwiches. The only other feedback I can give is the great discomfort I had due to the fact that my seat remained in a reclining position and did not adjust to be upright. Without the option of repositioning my seat, made the trip exhausting.

From Oaxaca to Pochutla: Bus seat, arm rest and headrest are not clean. No armrest between passengers. Seat 16 has the TV directly above it in opposition to the map online which shows the TV behind seat 16. On the bright side, the first movie Hidden Figures was excellent and wasn't too loud volume. Otherwise, it was easy and quick to figure out how to board the bus and store luggage underneath and retrieve luggage at destination. Air conditioning goes on and off to regulate so sometimes you're extremely hot and sometimes you're cool but not cold.

Very nice ride from Mexico City to Oaxaca although road conditions added an additional hour and a half. Safe and smooth—no worries
