ADO User Reviews
ADO receives praise for its clean buses, comfortable seats, and friendly staff. However, several users have noted that the constant playing of movies on board can be disruptive due to loud audio and bright screens. Additionally, some travelers experienced delays beyond the scheduled timetable. Overall service is appreciated but could benefit from quieter journeys without communal entertainment systems.
It was good but it wasn't clear where to catch the bus back when we got dropped off at the side of the highway to go to Tulum ruins. Luckily there was a tourism rep, Diego, (working for the City I guess) who gave us a free map and directions to walk to the ruins (even tho he may have been trying to interest us in hiring a personal guide to make our experience more informative) and we were able to go to him again after to help figure out where to catch the bus back. He informed us we needed to get on a 'collectivo' (those white coloured tourist vans) to bring us up the highway further to get to the ADO station. It was cheap tho...only 40 pesos.

The trio itself was good, the driver taking care of safety and ease. The discomfort I had experienced was lack of healthy food options at the Oaxaca terminal. Aside from snacks, each food kiosk primarily consisted of sandwiches. The only other feedback I can give is the great discomfort I had due to the fact that my seat remained in a reclining position and did not adjust to be upright. Without the option of repositioning my seat, made the trip exhausting.

Really easy to get from Chiquila to Merida. Bus was on time, clean, and well communicated. I don’t love the loud movies they play on ADO buses but otherwise it was all good!

It was OK. The Puebla CAPU station was disorganized, and the departure screens bore no relation to reality. The bus itself was good.
