The bus is clean and spacious, the staff is really nice, they helped me on the border when I had an issue with my visa. We got water and snacks, which is always nice. On the way we had a little accident when someone bumped us from the back (there was barely and sign on the bus) which cost us a lot of time. There was a lot of people on the borders and that is also the reason we arrived 3hours late. But all in all I recommend using Mekong Express.
Good trip with stops every two hours. The young lady who accompanied us for passport control and immigration formalities was very efficient. She didn't waste any time...
The only problem was that we thought the bus would have a toilet
Started off with finding the different address sent via email difficult to find and was a hotel adress when the location was further down the road. Didn't find the staff to pleasant and made wee in the park before leaving as no toilets on the bus. We traveled 2 hours and sat in the layby for 3-4hours with no explanation as to why. The bus was ok to sleep on and comfortable just shame no toilet as we didn't stop for toilet breaks. We got there on time so no trouble just caused us worry about what was going on in between as lack of communication
They departed late and arrived late too. I was only tourist in the bus. They didn’t wait me for my gisa on border and left from border without me. They went to restaurant for some stop eating, resting etc. I went to there with tuk tuk and I paid money for that. Nobody told me anything about that. I was shocked to live that. I will go back to Vietnam again and hope to not see and live this thing again.
The bus ran very late (3 hours)! Crossing the border was not clearly explained by staff. There was also no toilet on board as advertised. Bus was clean and spacious though and crackers were provided.
Please update the address on your online ticket. I was an hour early, but due to the wrong address stated on the ticket i was waiting on the wrong address. I was almost late. Good thing i asked somebody and directed me to the right address.
Unclear information, not clear where te office was. (Not at the adress mentioned, but opposite at the street). Theyre not used to tourists, fe i show my eticket and girl asks me if i want to buy a ticket, not sayning in english when we can go out for break or explaining what they would do with the pasports. Maybe for really experienced travellers wanting to save money fine, otherwise; pay some dollars more and get some service!!!
I was really disappointed that when we crossed into Cambodia we did not have WiFi. I was told we would have WiFi on our trip when I messaged IBIS the day before.
I traveled with Mekong express bus the first time and found the service very good, the driver was checking on the passengers and even asked me and my mom if we wanted a droff of as the bus would stop further away from my house. There was no delay of departure time, many buses companies were. The only downside was the sit that should be having more space the place the passengers legs as considers taking the bus for 6-7 hrs.
Worst service ever, no hospitality at all!! I was use Khai Nam after transfered from VET bus (SR to HCMC) and know already this bus sucks. Then even worst when my departure was at 3:30 PM but then I arrived at 3:00 PM and they just gone already. Sucks! the employee even dont give a FFFF about it.They should only delivering cargo not a human!
