Airconditioning was bad. Temperature went above 27 degrees and an alarm kept going it was to warm. So no sleep because of the noise of the alarm and I stayed in my underwear the entire trip
Excellent service and the bus trip was good except the heat at the back was very hot and there was no air conditioning. It may the whole 8 hours very unpleasant.
Don’t expect to arrive on time. The drive was very jerky too, I didn’t feel safe with the hard breaking. Seats were very comfy, good quality bus especially for the price.
Late, but not too bad. Staff was a bit grumpy, and some passengers were really loud (talking on the phone with speaker, watching film on their phone without headphones) and it was a night bus.. I feel like the staff should kindly remind people that talking/watching videos on their phone after midnight is not ok when people are trying to sleep! Others were clearly annoyed by it too. The bus itself is fine, good seats/toilets and nice snacks.
Everything’s was great. The bus, the food, the attendant. Actually, considering the price it’s outstanding. I do wish there had been WiFi in the bus, but still outstanding and I’ll highly recommend using Cruz Del Sur to anyone who asks!
Staff handling baggage were very efficient and they have a very good system in place. The bus was very comfortable and they provided snacks and water straight away.
Very comfortable busride, temperature was good, driver drove safe etc. Would be great if there are vegetarians meals available. And less plastic rubish (maybe wooden / recycable cutlery). And instead of desserts in a plastic cups, maybe an idea to give fruit or a cake in a paper bag etc.
This was unbelievable. The only reason I took the bus was to see the view on the 10 hour trip. I paid for the higher priced tickets and the windows were painted over and we could not see outside at all. We sat in a dark cabin for 10 hours with no stops. We received one cup of water and one small meal and were starving and thirsty. We wasted a whole day and should have taken a different bus company or an aeroplane. The seats were comfortable.
I have travelled Cruz del sur a few times now and each time has been good and prompt, however, this time they were a little slow and the tv screen did not work for half of the trip which was very frustrating
Seats were a little small for me, especially when the person in front lays all the way back. But good service nonetheless, nothing major to complain about
I mentioned the bus was late but we were glad about this as didn’t want to arrive in Trujillo too early in the morning to check into hotel. Drivers were driving all night so obviously working hard. Personal entertainment system was an unexpected bonus. Nice breakfast roll.
The 1st piso seats were comfortable but I think they recline too much crowding out the person in back of the recliner. Both have to be reclining all the way but not always what is wanted. A young woman in front of me reclined to maximum, and I seen an older couple who had the same problem with a a younger couple in front of them. It is more difficult to leave the seat and re-enter with so little room. I have a bad knee so affected me, also. It is not LINEA's fault but rude or nonconcerned fellow passengers. LINEA should emphasize a reclining guideline of some kind. Sure everybody pays for a seat, but more politeness is also required all traveling together.
The bus got us where we needed to go. We stopped at a restaurant half way and ate some food and stretched. The bus was alright but it kind of smelled. Other than that I can’t complain. Good for it’s price.
No snacks or drink on a 11 hour bus ride, said the arrival was 6 but we arrived at 8, 2 hours late, at a stop we were asked to get off the bus but we had no reason to get of the bus and they didn’t seem to like that, they spoke no English so we tried translating on my phone and kept telling him no Español and he kept talking in Spanish very quickly and wasn’t getting that we didn’t understand and it seemed like he just wanted us to leave our stuff and get off the bus for no reason which we didn’t trust, pretty sketchy and annoying. Only good thing about this bus line is that it is cheap.
Comfortable seats, nice service including refreshments and a snack. Movie that was playing when I first got on was a bit loud, but noise level was good after it finished.
