Horrible ride, no food, snacks where basic and very only two items, no terminals had any hot food or drinks. If this is the best bus service in Peru, take a flight.
Your driver is horrible refused to tell us anything about the timing of the bus despite me speaking to him in Spanish. Wouldn’t stop to let us off so we could get a taxi so now we will miss our flights
No había espacio para las piernas, el bus estaba sucio y además en 24 horas solo hizo 2 paradas, de las que una fue de 2 minutos y no pudimos hacer/comprar nada.
The driver wasn't kind, he didn't want to give the WiFi password, the tv sceen not working, the food we got wasn't eatable, the toilets not clean, the bus sites was good. and comfortable, the trip was fine no problem s
We asked the company about the protest that happened few days ago if we can pass and we been told we can, we got to the protest area and got stuck like the other 15 buses of the same company and few of other companies.
We had to cancel our flight and walk 40km to pass the blockroads to get the other side of the road and from there getting to Lima.
The company didn't said the truth and a lot of people been stuck over of 3 days without food or water.
the company just tried to make money without care of people health or security.
I booked a trip from Cusco to Lima I’m attempts to make it to Lima before the government shut down its borders but was unsuccessful in my attempts. I never received a notification that the bus would not be able to leave due to the travel ban. I’m slightly disappointed in the lack of communication with their customer service
One of your drivers doesn’t know where his gears are ... made for an uncomfortable ride every time he was driving let alone what it was doing to your vehicle. Your attendant picks the most zigzagging bit of the road to serve dinner at six o’clock presumably because it’s time to serve dinner rather than waiting for a straighter bit of road. Food was cold so why not plan for cold food rather than serve chicken rice and vegetables that is meant to be hot? Cruz del Sur’s food is significantly better than yours
It was a super comfortable bus ride with very few people and lots of space. For a 22 hour trip I happily pay a bit more money and be comfortable. I liked that there were meal options, and the dinner was actually quite tasty.
Movie selection was good but the music channels didn't work. Likewise, not all USB chargers worked.
If it's impossible to have wifi on the bus, there should be at least a place in the bus terminals to use wifi. How can foreign travelers call an Uber, for example? But, all in all, good service and I'm happy to recommend Cruz Del Sur.
The bus was on time and fairly comfortable for a basic bus. 'Basic' means that there are no WiFi on the board, no possibility to charge your phone, no blanket for the night and no option to switch on and off your personal screen. The bathroom smelled bad at the end, though.
Oltursa didn't have Wi-Fi working on both trips I ever took with them. Budbud send the wrong location for the terminal on this trip . There is no terminal where the link shows. Almost missed the bus
I was overall satisfied with my trip from Cusco to Lima. Everything was on time which was great, however I assumed we would stop atleast once for food over the 20 hours - which we didn’t. I can’t fault the bus, as it was quite comfortable and we were able to watch movies. When I arrived to Lima, however, one of the CIVA taxi staff approached me. I was happy to take a taxi with him as although my hostel was only a few hundred meters away, I had a very heavy bag. He charged me $30 soles for the trip. My hostel is 1900 hostel, very close to the terminal. I tried to ask for $20 soles but he did not agree. I was very disappointed with the cost of the taxi.
For such this long trip [over 24 hours] no food or snacks were provided. The driver did two stops at a local restaurants were they increased the prices because there were people on the bus that aren't local like and my son
I loved my trip with Econociva. So far I have travelled through South America with Cata International, Pullman & Cromotex. And Econociva was my favourite. The food was nice, great service by staff, I even got moved to a seat where no one was booked so I had two seats to myself which I really appreciated. The only issue was the departure time changed from 1:30pm to 4:05pm so I was waiting at the bus station for hours, but I understand these things happen. It would also be great if movies on the bus could be played with English subtitles for tourists like myself.
Aircon was very weak at the back of the bus and the toilet door was sticking so every visit involved at least 3 bangs. Fortunately the hostess moved me to a vacant seat which was better.
Otherwise OK.
Electricity did not work as well as Wi-Fi...although it was sold as included.
I found the tv totally annoying. So loud and many actionfilms...which are bad for the kids onboard
There was a little bit of miscommunication because I don't speak Spanish my suitcase got put on the early bus to Lima and my bus to Lima was later that day but once I got to Lima I went to the office and the lady could speak English and she was amazing and found my suitcase and got it sent to her office where I was waiting I got my suitcase back then she helped me get a taxi to my hostel so very pleased with the lady for fixing everything
The staff lady was rude. She did not answer questions not just from ya but from others in the bus and when she did it was in a supper rude tone. We also where very cold during the night and no blanket was offered, when we too one for ourselves she was mad and rude to us.
It took us an extra 7 hours to get to our location after we left an hour late. We had to change to a new bus that was different and worse than what we paid for. Completely and thoroughly unimpressed by this company.
Staff were friendly, but no English. Bus was about 1h30 late, but luckily we did not have a tour booked so no damage done. Bus was extremely comfortable!
Very well organised compared to all the other buses we have travelled with across South America. As it is a 21 hour trip we were given a small dinner and a small breakfast the next morning. I thought this was good value for what we paid for. The toilets were kept clean with toilet roll. The only dislikes I had were that the volume of the movies/entertainment was far too loud and unable to turn down. The seats were also much smaller than all the other buses. It reminded me of being on an airplane though!
