Absolutely the worst bus journey ever and I've done my share of long and overnight buses. It was meant to be a 140 degree reclining seat, but was just the most standard bus seat. There was no air conditioning. There were no breaks to stretch your legs or get food whatsoever. We had booked seats on the right side online because it was meant to be more scenic, but the actual seatings were completely different and we ended up on the left. The journey was 23 hours. It was inhumane. Never again.
Grundsätzlich besser als erwartet. Jedoch keine Air-condition, sehr lautes Fernsehen, keine Liegesitze. Ca. 2,30h Verspätung. Trotzdem zufriedenstellend.
We arrived at the terminal early but was able to check our bags in. We left on time, was served a delicious dinner of rice with beef patty and side of vegetables as well as a small breakfast. The seats were very comfortable and the temperature was great. We were provided with a pillow and blanket. Overall it was a great and safe experience. I’m glad I went this route to get to Cuzco. Remember to bring own headphones for the onboard entertainment.
The biggest complaint and problem was the bathroom. For a 22 hour bus trip and first class bus, the cleanliness and quality of the toilet needs attention and improvement. The service was excellent from Valeria.
Excellent service. We didn’t realize that the seats up top which cost a bit extra had more room and personal entertainment, next time we will buy the top deck tickets for sure. Bus bathroom did get a bit dirty but otherwise for a 22hr hour bus amazing!
They should have filled up on petrol before the departure so we didn’t need to wait half an hour. And the attendant forgot I was vegetarian and gave me chicken for desayuno
There is a problem with people and mobile phones in the bus during the night. When 5 - 6 people "forget" to off the sound of their phones during the night, it is really disturbing other people from sleep when their phones ring all the time (messeages, meeting reminders...) 22 hours in a bus and a sound every one or two minutes is getting on the nervs. The staff should remind the passengers to of their phones during the night...
The bus was comfier than I thought. I was also not expecting hot food included on the bus which was a nice surprise. The major downfall was that there was no information being shared in English. I had no idea what was going on particularly prior to boarding the bus.
I also was not allowed to use the bathroom and was yelled at in Spanish when I tried to enter the toilet.
Everything was fine. But the lady didnt want to gave us the WiFi password?! And maybe give the passengers 2 times the oppurtunities to go out the bus. 21 hours sitting is quite long.
Super comfortable. Very Nice staff. Pillow, Blanket, food, tea, movies, best bus ride ever. Except... the movies are only dubbed in Spanish. There was no option to watch them in their regular languages. Also the WiFi was very bad. Could have been me. But I doubt it because it didn’t work on my phone or my tablet. But it’s all good.
Extremely comfortable seating arrangement so very easy to sleep.
The food provided was good.
The toilet got a bit messy but it is sort os expected.
We had a very warm welcome from the chap cleaning the bus when we arrived in Cuzco!!
It should have taken 20 hours but took 24. However I would rather spend the extra hours on a Cruz del Sur bus than any other. Unfortunately my seat would not stay vertical. Other than that it was a good experience
The staff is good and the timing was good and the chairs were very good. But the movies was projecting too much on the screen and without headfone so u must watch all the movies. And the worest was the smell going out from the toylet, in some moment i felt we are sitting in the soar itself
