Damas receives praise for its well-air-conditioned buses, especially in high temperatures, and the friendly demeanor of some drivers. However, there are mentions of inconsistent driver attitudes and a lack of amenities like air conditioning on certain trips. We arrived at the bus station with 30 minutes, the driver arrived 15 before he was due to leave so we were able to board without any fuss or last minute rush. The journey was comfortable and apart from the busy traffic when we arrived on the outskirts of Seville, all very uneventful.

The bus was fine but packed so our two children had to sit on our knees even though we’d paid full price for them. It was pretty chaotic in Huelva bus station, no departure board and no staff to ask. The toilets were pretty grim too.

Damas changed the bus number we were supposed to get on without mention of this. Therefore lost out on our trip, with zero compensation and lack of communication

Ride was very comfortable and economical. As first time travelers we found the boarding instructions lacking. There were no clear signs at point of entry and no signage identifying stops along the way. Not even an announcement by the driver.
