The Centro bus was never called so it was not known to me where the bus was loading. I was informed that it left and I had to buy another ticket. Another couple had the same experience. As it was a small bus and parked beyond the big buses, I had no idea it was there. It wasn't on the board or called out by the lead bus man
Chaos in the terminal . Spanish speaking and non Spanish speaking travelers had a hard time figuring out when to board when to wait . Both my buses left late 5 to 10 min ,and after checking with the attendant if I could board I was told to wait only to have to run to my bus as it was pulling back . But I didn’t mind so much . It’s not the employee's fault it’s the procedures . As the buses are scheduled to go out everyone with different destinations are packed at the entrance to the buses . If everyone going to Playa could stand on the left and everyone going to Xalapa could stand on the right , as the order of the buses going out that would make it easier. And an enfaces on trip # might help . I can tell the employees are doing their best . Thanks
Sucks!! Took my money, bus didn't come. Then made me but another ticket for the same price. The announcers know no English at all and as a result many are missing their busses. Also missed my flight the bus was so late. Had to buy another ticket. If I could give Them 0 stars that is what they would get from me. Suckey people and Suckey service. Not recommended.
There was no clear information at the station for where our bus would be, we asked multiple staff and nobody would help us, all staff were super annoyed and didn't want to help us.. We finally got in a bus and fortunately it was ours. The bus took a detour to the other bus station in Playa and we then arrived late at the station in Cancun. The bus itself was clean with A/C and a movie (not interesting and too violant in my opinion).
Our 11:30 a.m. bus never arrived. Noone seemed to know anything. Thankfully I speak Spanish and with much questioning between whichever Ado staff member I could find we got a ride on the 12pm Ado shuttle van to Cancun centro. A lot of other people were also confused which bus to get in. A group of us were surprised at how disorganized it appeared this morning. The ride was pleasant and we will take Ado again.
My very first time with them. Ride was very comfortable and staff were great. My partner forgot her documents on bus and thank goodness they had them. Will definitely plan to ride with them on my next trip to Mexico. Very happy customer.
The bus was excellent. There was construction on the highway and they had just had a heavy rain. I believe they were late due to these factors. This is an excellent way to get around Mexico. I will highly recommend ADO to all my friends!!
The bus ride to Cancun was fine (on a minibus) but the bus left one half hour late. Apparently they combined the 10:00 bus and the 10:30 bus, but as far as we know, there was no communication or announcement about this change. One other man who was also waiting for the 10:00 bus finally asked someone about our bus. I couldn't understand the reply in Spanish, but I am guessing he was told it would be a half hour late because they were combining the two buses.
The best service is good, and punctual. My only complain is that even though there is an option to reserve seats, everytime, the seat reservations are not honored. Seats are on a first come first serve basis. Why offer the option of reserving seats if it's a free for all?
ADO bus driver was very good driver. The only thing I see that needs improving,is the shocks on the bus. Bus was a bit bumpy, same as when we went to Bacalar, I needed to take motion sickness pills. The drivers were great drivers and they seem to know a lot of the other bus/big truck drivers,as I saw them waving to them(which was nice to see)
Really wish they would have some sign in the window with the destination. I had difficulty communicating with staff and was given incorrect fact about not being the right bus when it was the right bus. I speak a little Spanish and asked another passenger and discovered it was my bus. Language is not a reason to not give a bad survey especially when the service was great.
Bus left and arrived on time. However there were people and our seats and due to language barrier could not ask them to move. Also the staff did not put tags on our bags or give us tickets to collect them like usual
