BoltBus was created by Greyhound Bus Lines in 2008, this bus operator offers premium, non-stop bus transportation in multiple regions in the United States.
In 2012, After concentrating their efforts in the American Northeast, BoltBus expanded its services to the Pacific Northwest, offering trips between Vancouver (Canada), Seattle (Washington) and Portland (Oregon).
After finding success in the Pacific Northwest, BoltBus expanded its west coast operations to major cities in California and Nevada.
Boltbus offers more $1 bus tickets than its parent company, Greyhound. The company claims that every scheduled trip has at least one $1 bus ticket. In order to increase your odds of getting those rare $1 tickets, the company recommends booking your trip earlier as those $1 tickets are usually the first tickets sold.
