The check in process in sants have to be quicker, we wait to much time in the bus. The second driver for the second part of the trip, dives to fast, gets clients a little bit worried ( i couldn fall asleep)
Not told what destinations we were stopping or why Bus was late. V frustrating as we had to notify our accommodation about delay. Also wasnt advise what wifi code. Asked a few people on bus no english speaking
Vibasa staff was very unhelpful: several buses were scheduled to leave for Barcelona at around the same time and none of the drivers knew about the others. This made it very confusing when passengers for bus 2 (my bus) were waiting to board. One driver was very agitated about the situation and even rude/loud with passengers. When bus 2 finally did arrive (apparently delayed due to weather conditions, but at no point were passengers officially informed about this), it left San Sebastian station more than an hour later than it was scheduled to. Passengers were totally lost as to whether our bus would arrive or not, and when.
The driver of the bus I took was okay, but one of the drivers we talked to earlier (driver of Bus no. 1) was very dismissive of passengers’ concerns and seemed very irritated when people were asking him about the status of the bus. The bus ride itself was okay; the bus was clean and I didn’t feel unsafe during the trip. The driver was much nicer than the driver of Bus No. 1. I just wish the WiFi password was given to us though. But that’s a minor thing.
With the bus and the departure and arrival everything was fine so far. Anyway, bus driver was pretty unrelaxed and not obliging at all. Did not sleep a minute on an 8 hour night ride due to drivers music, air conditioning and manner of driving.
The bus was spacious and the bus driver was pleasant. But passengers were very loud talking, watching videos on mobile phones with sound on, answering phone calls throughout 7 hour trip. I don’t know the common sense of Spain, but I appreciate if the driver warns passengers to turn their mobile phones off or put the sound on mute out of respect for other passengers. Gracias
Late, was told off by bus driver for stretching out on seat. I was sitting at front so driver could see me. If this is not allowed, every other person on the bus should have been told off and not just me.
Everything was generally fine. I didn't bother by the delay but the difficalty of communicate in english. Almost nobody was able to give me an answer and until find which was the right bus i was really anxious.
Bus air conditioning didn't work properly and was an extremly hot and uncomfortable trip. Wifi also did not work. Very disappointing after other bus trips around Spain. I wish I had caught train instead.
I booked a trip but didn’t realize it was pm until I paid for ticket, I was unable to correct the ticket for the correct time, I had to book another ticket and lose the money for the first ticket. There should be a way to change a ticket within a few minutes after you book one. Added expense made me upset.
The address given to us by busbud was not the bus station. We got mixed up when we didn’t see any markers and went to the nearby bus station. We ended up missing our bus and having to repurchase with Alsa for the next day as well as get a hotel for the night. Terrible. Cost us 250 euro.
Bus broke, never show up at bus station in Barcelona. They put us in another bus then drop all the partners heading to San Sebastian at another bus stop. We had to wait almost to hours for the next bus. So instead of arriving at 14.10 like we were supposed to, we arrive in San Sebastián at 18.10. Not good!!
Busbud is a bus and train search tool - we include Vibasa routes, schedules and prices in our searches along with many other train and bus companies. You can compare prices, amenities and times by searching for a route. If you find a suitable trip, you can go ahead and get your Vibasa ticket from us. Note that train tickets sell out, Vibasa and other operators generally charge a lot more for last-minute tickets or for tickets bought in person.
