Enjoyed the trip, didn't enjoy the time it took, waiting 30 minutes for 2 people, while the passengers outnumbered the 2 new passengers
I booked the bus, bus left early and message its running late so many passengers with me missed the bus
There was a 2 hour delay scheduled, with the suggestion to look for updates. The bus arrived a bit over one hour late but then we had to wait until the scheduled delay. The driver made up for some of the delay by going very fast.

Greyhound Washington New York recent customer reviews
My trip was scheduled to start at 1:45 am but the bus did not come on time and I had to take the bus at 3:15 am, which was not good. I felt terrible.
Horrible. The driver harassed us the entire time and refused to drive us to our location at the end so we had to switch buses. Will never ride Greyhound again.
The bus was not clean but it is ok. The worker was too rude. Didn’t even want to tell me where exactly i can take the bus. I asked twice politely but she got angry even the others. Worst customer experience

Didn’t have WiFi like it said online, the tvs didn’t work and because it was raining the top of the bus was leaking on us
It was terrible. The 5:20pm bus didn’t come until 5:54pm. Then, there wasn’t enough space to get on the 5:54pm bus so I didn’t leave until the 6:50pm bus got there. Never again. Didn’t get to New York until midnight.
The bus was already there and service was the best
According to multiple reviews, the trip was generally okay. Customers appreciated the organized nature of the trip and found the staff to be polite and helpful. However, some customers mentioned that there was no halfway stop for tall people to stretch their legs as expected. Amazing customer service. I forgot my wallet on the bus, and the customer service I called was extremely helpful and I got my wallet back.
Great staff at station and on board. However badly understated the duration of the journey from DC to NYC, and no drinks were offered on board.
Nothing fancy, but I appreciate a good driver. The length of the trip is not correct on line. We were also told on the bus that it would be between 3.5 and 4 hours to NYC. It took 5.5 hours. Impossible, especially when we stopped once to change drivers and again for a 20 min break.
According to customer reviews, there have been consistent complaints about delays and late arrivals. Some customers also mentioned the lack of communication regarding these issues. These negative experiences have caused inconvenience for passengers who had to wait for hours or take alternative buses.

My bus was late and overbooked. They don’t answer their phones. I waited in the cold for hours and every bus was late and at capacity.
The driver didn’t show up until 6:27am for a bus meant to leave at 6am! Absolute MESS!!!
