Terrible experience. Bus left DC 2 hours after the scheduled time. Driver was unresponsive to passengers. At some point he parked on the highway and refused to continue with the journey. Thank God cops intervened.
Arrived in NY 3 hours late
Overall it was a very good way to get from DC to NYC. The 4hr scheduled time was optimistic to begin with and I wasn't surprised that it was 4.5 hrs. The seats weren't very comfortable. But for the price, I was happy overall with the trip.
The bus was like 4hrs late , then when it finally got there it had trouble starting then we had to wait for someone to come check to see why it wasn't starting it took about 15mins for the person to get there. I was to be in Ny a little after 12 noon give or take , I never got to Ny until after 6pm I missed my ride then I had to get 3 trains to get home making me even later . Long story short together I missed most of my uncle memorial service which was the reason I was traveling for in the first place .
Normally riding Peter Pan is so much fun and this time I enjoyed.I was almost at the back seat closer to the restroom, didnt seem i was in bus.But passengers from the
Great bus very clean and driver was super helpful and courteous driver too. Wifi could use a bit of strength boost but that's very minor everything was great.
Clean the bus better and make sure the driver leaves on time after they switch drivers the bus always gets back late. Also, the buses need to be cleaner and the ac should be on . Its hard to breath on a hot bus .
The floors were sticky, the bus was overly crowded what happened to the social distancing! People sat 2 in a seated row. In addition not only was it hot on the bus they are cheap on the ac . The drivers dont like to put it on and it was like 90 degrees out. The bus also made too many stops with one extra stop it got to NYC late.
It was hard to breath on the bus because it was very hot . They turned the overhead ac off and the bus didn't have working charging ports. They also made 4 stops and the 2nd driver was rude to the people on the bus.
Peter Pan buses are lacking in terms of maintenance. Comfortable enough, but too many MD stops like Silver Spring and Baltimore to call it direct service. I
overheard drivers noting that warning lights on their dashboard, like tire pressure and cabin electrical systems, are not fixed. Great for once in a while trip, but they can definitely do better.
I missed my bus because I wasn’t able to go to Silver Spring yesterday(17th January). 2days ago I kindly asked to exchange my ticket. But there’s still no response. So I have to buy new tickets for today(18th January).
Does not abide by Covid-19 regulations. The bus had not been refreshed. There was a can of soda in the drink holder, when I arrived on the bus...and my pick-up was the first stop. By the time we left Washington, DC the bus was at 50%. Once we stopped in Baltimore, MD, and acquired new passengers, it was basically packed. Unacceptable. Not what I paid for. Definitely dissatisfied. Then we were late arriving. Poor experience.
Thanks for a reliable service. The driver was courteous, on time and applied a lot of safety driving the bus. I enjoyed coming back a lot with your company.
I had no real problems this time around. I would like to know how can I get better rate. I go from New York to Washington every week and I buy 2 seats so I can be comfortable for the long ride.
