Greyhound New York City San Diego recent customer reviews
Fantastic bus driver R.D Brown for the first leg of the journey. Bus smelt strongly of urine and many power outlets did not work. Inconsiderate passengers who were drunk, displaying threatening behaviour, making noise, fighting, playing loud music and smoking weed on the bus in the early hours of the morning. They should have been removed immediately. Unhelpful staff at Colombus, Ohio when dealing with advising passengers about the ice storm in the Midwest. I was given no advice as to how to reach my final destination, San Diego. One member of staff said it was her last day of work and when I asked where the nearest airport was she was about to send me to an airport which was 9 hours away, instead of the nearby John Glenn Columbus International Airport. Another member is staff at the bus terminal just stopped me from getting on my scheduled bus, I asked if I could stick to the routine and get off somewhere else so I could catch a flight from somewhere closer to San Diego. He told me, i couldn't, and I'd just have to sit and wait for the possibly the two days - all other passengers from my previous bus were somehow transferred. No effort to help or provide me with information was given. I was gravely disappointed, the bus journey from one side of the country to the other was the highlight of my trip and I spent a lot of money flying over from abroad for the experience. I feel like I have unfairly treated by staff, and they did not fulfill their obligation to serve the public and ensure a comfortable ride, infact I felt my safety and wellbeing were threatened by keeping those unruly individuals on the bus. I am deeply upset. In the end I had to fork out another $400 dollars to fly to San Diego because nobody would help me.
