The communication for the whole trip was horrible. The tickets we had said the Zagreb central bus station, but the bus actually left from a street CLOSE to the bus station. We nearly missed the bus due to this error on the tickets. The staff would not allow us to use the bathroom “because of covid” even though they weren’t requiring the use of masks. They did not clean the bus because it was littered with empty bottles and cracker crumbs on the seats when we arrived. I have taken many night buses, and this was truly my worst experience.

I understand that the bus can be late even though five and half hours is a bit much.
But what i am definitely not okay with was not following recommended measures against COVID-19 and overcrowding the bus. Failing to notice the passengers that the bus is not entering the bus station but rather picking them up behind it was also very unprofessional.
