The bus station in Cusco was nice, but the bus was cramped and the seat I was assigned did recline. The heater was directly under my seat and it was running too hot.
Customers have mentioned that the bus was comfortable, but they were disappointed by the lack of blankets and Wi-Fi.
Everything was nice. Seats were clean and sleeping was better than expected. The bus was late because of a rock slide which was not the bus' fault. One issue I do have is there is no grey water tank on this bus. All excrement waste is dumped on the street for vehicles to drive over. This is certainly illegal in Canada and the USA but I'm not sure about the laws in Peru. Either way, it's pretty yucky.
The lady hosting the bus would not give my travel buddy extra sick bags when she was throwing up and would not give her water afterwards. Luckily we had water and kind passengers on the bus offered their sick bags. Later during the journey when I had ran out of water, I had to demand that she gave me some because she didn’t want to give it to me.
Nobody from the staff speaks English!!! That’s not very professional for a transport - touristic company!! When i wanted to ask the guy for my breakfast he could not tell me something, because he don’t understand! Also the air temperature regulation was not good! First, way too hot and then freezing cold! And again...the guy from the staff could not understand me when I was talking to him about that! At least everybody should speak just some basic words!
