Great, bus driver wasn't crazy
Bus was great, but getting info at the terminal was difficult as nobody spoke English and was unwilling to explain to me that after I picked up the ticket, I had to pay 1,5 soles for something I don’t even know what for and which bus I should board- the info on the ticket didn’t help me at all. The only reason why I managed to get to the right bus in time was because of a young man who graciously followed me all the way. The others just waved me away- it was stressful and I eventually became desperate. Luckily one man out of the 10 staff members I asked helped me. I’m not sure I would recommend any foreigners to take the bus.
Haven't used other bus companies in Peru so can't compare, but very disappointed with Exclusiva. The staff in Cusco station were very rude, the bus had no wifi, it was ridiculously cold the whole 10 hours, and the stale bread and crackers they served as a meal don't even deserve to be described as 'food'. I visit 10-15 countries a year and it's literally the worst 'food' offering i've ever received on transport. Nothing impressive about this company.
The bus makes lots of random stops in the middle of the night and lets people on and off in the middle of the road, and not at proper bus stations.
The bus was on time and clean and comfortable.
Bus was very comfortable and staff were great. Movies were available and a light meal and hot drink served. Bus was a little warm. Felt very safe as a solo traveller.
It arrived Arequipa late more than 1.5 hours. But so far the bus is great. Wi-Fi on the bus didn't work.
Very rocky and uncomfortable trip & we were told there were no pillows for the overnight 10 hour ride although we’ve used Cruz Del Sur before and were provided pillows for much shorter trips.
Fantastic bus, facilities and service. For all the silly rumours we had heard of South American bus travel this was a pleasant surprise.
Great experience, very comfortable seats and so lovely to get free pillows and blankets! The heating needs fixing though, the bus felt like a sauna at times.
I was disatisfied with the seats compared to my bus to Cusco (also Cruz del Sur) - they were way smaller and less space. Also I couldn’t watch movies in english, only spanish doblada.
Very nice, kind and proffesional
Good bus but they did not sell any beverages, not even water
All my experiences with Cruz del sur are very good. But the last 2 busses were way to hot, my leg was constantly burnt by the radiater next to my leg.
No hot meal or wifi as specified when I booked the ticket
The personnel was great, but only spoke Spanish.
Comfortable chairs, enough leg space. A little bit warm during the night
Excelent, best bus I’ve ever been to.
They cancelled the bus 4 Hours before leaving cusco. No help by Cruz del sur staff
The bus was kept incredibly hot and arrived late (apparently due to road work)
It was literally so hot the entire time. Several passengers asked the attended to turn the aircon to a lower temperature or to control the heating underneath the seats. She didn’t listen and the entire bus was sweating for nearly 12 hours straight.
Loved it. Actually meant to click five stars. Sorry
The bus was stuck and the Company brought new bus after a long time with no food or water!
Chairs were good, staff was kind, food was not so good
La cena podría estar mejor
Comfortable and convenient
Cruz del Sur is one of the best and most comfortable buses I've gone with. On demand movies, clean, big comfortable seats, pillow + blanket and snacks. 2 h late to Arequipa though. No info in English. But a very good choice in Peru!
