Speakers were very loud, to the point I couldn’t speak to the person next to me. No aircon so it was very hot inside. Oil spilt over our luggage in the bag hold. Arrived to Puerto Maldonado three hours late.
My experience of Excluciva was terrible. I got an overnight bus from Cusco to Puerto Maldonado and the driver had the heat on full blast for the entire journey. It was so uncomfortable, sticking to the seats, hot air blowing so that absolutely everything was warm. It was like being in a sauna making for a hot, sticky, uncomfortable night of no sleep. There were also no staff around to ask for it to be turned down.
Additionally, the bus arrived 3 hrs later than expected (8am rather than their advertised 5.05am) which may be an issue for anyone going straight on an Amazon tour.
The air condition was completely turned off all the time. After a few hours there was no oxygen anymore. It was super hot, humid and no air to breath. It was really hard for all travelers and everyone only wanted to get out as soon as possible.
Never again!
really comfortable seats! The 10 hour journey was surprisingly bearable - and the food provided during the trip was, while not the very best - entirely edible and appreciated!
Awful smell in the toilet with no paper. Internet wasn't functionning. The temperature varied inside the bus from very hot to very cold. Cheap lunch for a 10 hours trip (1 piece of dry bread, jam, cookies, small juice and tea).
There was no clear instructions where to get the bus from. It said estacion waschaq on the tickets but there is no bus station there so I had to book another bus and take it from the main bus terminal. It cost me much more and 3 taxi rides
We were not in the system although we had a confirmation. We had to wait for more than one hour to fight about our Seats. Finally two minutes before take off we could finally come on the bus.
This was the best bus that we travelled on in Ecuador and Peru. The departure station was very professional and organised. They provided food on the bus. The seats were wide and comfortable. I would definately use this bus company again
Good clean bus, good quality screens. The promised "hot meal" was not served, instead it was a juice box and a cold pastry thing. Don't expect to be able to sleep haha, but that's justthe nature of the trip :)
Our bus was delayed by a landslide that made us 10 hours late coming in. Which is just bad luck for those of us who were on a schedule. However, there was no information provided as to why we were delayed or possibly how long we could be late. I and several other tourists had no way to contact the tours we had booked to let them know what was happening.
Basically, the entire situation would have been less stressful with more information.
Very comfortable seats, nice blanket and pillow, nice TV. My seat did not recline as far as others which was too bad. I should have changed seats. Overall impressive service.
It was too hot, we asked yo turned iff heater and the smell of other people socks was terrible so we were riding with open window. But other things was great!
Great service, very comfortable. Hard process with only minimal Spanish but once on board, comfortable and easy to sleep. Food and entertainment provided.
I took an overnight bus with my boyfriend. We left nearly 45 minutes late. My seat was right beside the heater or just some part that got EXTREMELY hot- the ride was stifling and made it impossible to sleep. We had to open a window. Only after several hours was the air turned on to help circulate. The bathroom was also filthy and smelled horrible.
Ever time the bus stopped the AC would go off and it would get extremely hot and humid on the bus. Even while the bus was running the AC did not seem to work well and it was hot.
Thank you for the opportunity to comment. We did not have a restful evening. We paid for the semi-cama seats (160 degrees) so that we could get comfortable. Sadly 1 of our chairs did not work... every time you push it down, it just came back up. They kept a night light on the whole trip... so we all had to sleep with blankets over our heads (why?). I hope you are able to look into this matter for us. Warm Regards, Louise
