Staff was not in the office prior to ten minutes before the bus departed, and the seats were very small. when the person in front of me leaned back they hit my knees and it caused a very uncomfortable ride, not to mention that it was 31,000 Luka. Adding onto that the bus was suppose to arrive at 6:30 AM so people would be able to shower before work, however the bus decided to arrive in Santiago at 8:30 making me late. Never Using Prime Bus AGAIN
Best bus company I’ve ever used! The staff were great 👍 very comfortable and I surprisingly was able to get a little sleep on a night bus. Usually it’s impossible! Arrived smoothly and on time. Thanks again!
Overall, good quality and very friendly staff, but there were some issues and the bus arrived in Santiago 6 hours later without us being informed what had happened or what was the reason of such delay.
It was the worst bus trip I have ever had in Chile and I am travelling in this country for the last 20 years. There was no water in the toilet on a 12-hour busride!!!
Half way the trip the bus stopped and the driver told us we had some time to drink coffee or eat something. So I went to the terminal facilities and ordered a coffee. Then I went back to the bus. It left already! I don't want to blame the driver. I consider me having made a mistake. Anyhow I went to the Jet Sur office and asked for a solution. The clerk immediately called the bus driver and asked where they were already. He then dragged me to a taxi and told the taxi driver where to go. Finally we could catch up the bus. Nice reaction of the office clerk. Good service of Jet Sur. Thanks.
We stopped at every conceivable bus stop on the way to Santiago, dramatically delaying the bus. We went off the highway and out of the way - even backwards -to drop off passengers. At one point in the highway the bus stopped and slid backwards down a hill- incredibly dangerous!! We had no stops to stretch legs and the sound of movies didn't work. The toilet was blocked.
Uncomfortable seats, very unfriendly staff (would numerously turn on the tv even though the passengers asked her to leave it off because they wanted to sleep)
the bus was supposed to depart at 8 PM, but was not checked until 10 minutes before departure. then the driver found that the bus wouldn't start. a technician came after 15 minutes, and said the battery should be replaced. and then we waited for another hour and a half outside while it was getting cold with no time estimate.
we were practically ignored the whole time.
in the bus the entertainment system was very poor, movie had jumped, seemed to be a rip off of a movie, pirated from the internet.
the "snaks" were chocolate flavored cornflakes. coffee offered in the bag was disgusting.
no compensation was given for all the trouble.
very bad service.
overall, not recommended bus.
For some unknown reason our bus didn't go on time, we were told the bus driver was drunk. The company representers put us on a different bus to Temuco and from there to switch to another bus to Santiago. Me and my partner couldn't sit toghether and we arrived later then expected.
I have to add that it looked like the staff tried to find us a quick alternative which with all the inconvience we had on this trip is still very appriciated.
One last thing, after the trip to Santiago we continued directly to Mendosa with Andesmar. Du to a technical problem(not a flat tire) the bus stopped at the middle of the road and the staff switched us to a different company very quick, about 20 minutes.
The bus was not very clean. There certainly seemed to be time to clean it beforehand, including the bathroom, which was a mess, (not cleaned, no soap). Also, I was happy to stay on until the bus parked in the station, but because of traffic I felt almost forced off the bus with all of my bags and it was an unsafe place to be. Please make them aware of these mishaps!
I lost a pair of glasses in the bus. I have informed the company one hour after the travel, but I did not see efforts to find my stuff. The asked me to try go in the office again tomorrow. I will try and hope I can receive good news.
Bitten all over by bugs on the bus. Got on just showered, fresh clothes, arrived itching all over. The blanket provided to blame I think. Still suffering 2 days later
