Ontario Northland receives praise for its friendly and attentive drivers, contributing to a generally positive travel experience. However, some users have raised concerns about the safety of certain drop-off locations and incidents involving disruptive passengers. Additionally, issues such as bus delays and difficulties with ticket exchanges were noted in several reviews.

As a frequent traveller to Ontario via bus i have always been extremely satisfied with Ontario northland up until this most recent trip. The driver was very friendly, and I felt very safe with his driving the winter roads, however I was completely put in a position of feeling uncomfortable and unsafe when he stopped at the new southdale mall drop off location ...a city transit stop by a bus shelter where homeless hang out and an arra where people are put in vulnerable situations as the location is not the safest. Also was hurried off the bus as we were holding up city transit busses. If this is going to be a permanent drop off in southdale I will no longer choose this service and do not recommend to others. This is unsafe and unacceptable. Do better Ontario northland!

Both drivers on my return trip home were excellent in handling bad weather conditions, delayed connections, and traffic backups. I felt always in good hands.

The bus driver was excellent! He was kind, communicated well with passengers throughout and the bus was clean. It was frustrating that we had to stop in North Bay for an hour when the roads were becoming increasingly dangerous.
