Passengers can definitely board with a copy of the ticket (e-ticket) on their mobile devices. If you do not have a mobile device you can get access to the bus by providing your government-issued ID. Remember, the name on the ticket should match the name on the ID.

Passengers are free to leave the bus whenever it has stopped for a break. The bus rests or stops are usually 15 minutes long. The bus operator will give you an exact time before opening the doors. This makes it the perfect opportunity for passengers to grab a snack or refreshment.

Ontario Northland is fully accessible to people with disabilities. Most of the buses have audio and visual announcements for all stops. If passengers require this service or any other service for passengers with disabilities or reduced mobilities they are required to contact Ontario Northland on 1-800-461-8558 and should be done at least 48 hours in advance.

Students can enjoy a 15% discount on their bus tickets. This is usually deducted from the adult fare and will also be applied to all children as well as unaccompanied children. In order to get the special discount tickets must be purchased at an Ontario Northland ticket counter.

• Unaccompanied minors will be assigned a specific seat and should remain in the specific seat till the bus has reached its destination (excludes using the washroom).

• Must inform the relevant crew or driver if they are being disturbed.

• Must inform the driver if they are in need of any assistance throughout the trip. 

• Unaccompanied minors should at all times follow the driver’s when stopping to take quick breaks along the way. 

• Unaccompanied minors should be the last to disembark the bus and should wait for all passengers to disembark before following the driver to meet the receiving adult or guardian.

Ontario Northland does not guarantee connections to third party carriers as they are nor permitted to sell tickets of any of the third party carriers such as Rider express, UP Express, Maple Bus Lines or Go Transit. Customers are required to purchase these tickets on the third party website.

Pets are not permitted on their motor coach service.  However, Ontario Northland are committed to welcoming people with disabilities who are accompanied by a service animal. They will also ensure that all staff, volunteers and others dealing with the public are properly trained in how to interact with people with disabilities who are accompanied by a service animal.

The Standard policy is does not allow refunds or exchanges. If you select the Flexible package for an extra free, then you can receive a 100% refund up to 24 hr prior to your departure. You can also exchange the date or time up to 24 hours before departure at no extra cost.

Ontario Northland buses offer free WiFi, electrical outlets, comfortable seating and an onboard washroom facility. Most of their buses are fully accessible with accessible washrooms and have audio and visual announcements for all stops.

Passengers may check one piece of baggage for no charge, and two additional checked bags for $15 each (e.g. $30 for 2 additional bags). Bags must not weigh more than 50 lbs (23 kg) each and must be no larger than 24” x 24” x 45” (61 cm x 61 cm x 114 cm) in size.

Yes, there is complimentary wifi on the bus and at the station. You can connect your phone by selecting the wifi network available.
