drivers very friendly and skillfull as a retired truck driver with 47 years experience of driving large vehicles i do tend to rate drivers abilities,on my trip l made 3 journeys with flix bus and i must say the drivers were excellent both in the uk and canada,l felt very safe and comfortable with them
Many users appreciate the punctuality and politeness of the drivers, as well as clean buses that offer a comfortable journey. However, some reviews mention issues with bus maintenance and cleanliness, such as molding on double-decker windshields and noisy signs inside. Despite these concerns, passengers generally find the service reliable for their travel needs.
Megabus Canada Ottawa Toronto recent customer reviews
The bus arrived at my destination, Toronto Union, two hours behind schedule, which caused me to miss my connecting train. Additionally, the check-in process was time-consuming, which caused major delays in boarding. When transfering between buses in Kingston, our second bus' driver was also 30 minutes late. The only positive comment I have is that the second bus, branded as a Megabus bus, was somewhat spacious compared to other buses I've been on.

Ottawa to Kingston was great. Once boarding Kingston bus we sat for an hour before anyone telling us what was going on. Then half an hour for a mechanic. Then another half an hour. No apologies, no updates on when we would arrive, awful experience.

The trip never happened. It was canceled and no email was sent. We didn’t know what happened because they didn’t answer the phone.
Passengers generally appreciate the timely and efficient service, highlighting clean buses and comfortable rides. The drivers are often praised for their professionalism and friendliness. However, some users noted issues with inaccurate bus location information, non-functional Wi-Fi or chargers, small toilets, crowded conditions at times, and occasional delays due to driver changes or hard braking. Overall satisfaction remains high despite these minor concerns.
Rider Express Ottawa Toronto recent customer reviews
We arrived almost an hour later, there was some traffic at the end but driver was already late. As soon as we left Ottawa we stopped on the side of the road for about 20 minutes. Driver didn't communicate the reason, and despite being behind schedule we still took a break in Kingston. Even when checking tickets he was really slow, felt like he didn't care to be on time

Rider Express have the best drivers. Both the driver going and coming were super and so pleasant. They showed that they care for their passengers. The bus was on time.

The driver (I wish I asked his name) was very kind and professional. The bus was clean and the charging outlets worked. Even when he got clipped by a truck on DVP, he was calm, to the point and got us going again in 20 minutes. It was the best trip to TO in recent memory!
According to users, the bus service provides a comfortable ride with friendly drivers. However, some reviews mention that buses can arrive late and there are occasional issues such as lack of washrooms or Wi-Fi on mini-buses. Despite these concerns, passengers appreciate the overall comfort and professionalism of the staff.

Did not enjoy that the bus had to pullover multiple times to check the doors functionality. The bathroom door on the bus was almost falling off. The bus was just not up to the standard I would expect.

The ticket showed Red Arrow and I was expecting a bus that said Red Arrow, not Orleans Express. Because of this, I missed my ride.

Driver was courteous. Bus was clean. Seat was comfortable.
Driver dealt with a passenger who had a medical emergency when disembarking for a time break in Kingston. Driver stayed calm, contacted emergency services and comforted victim until paramedics arrived. He also liaisoned with Starbuck staff as the emergency ended up on the restaurant property adjacent to the bus lay up at the Harvey’s. Driver kept us informed and as no was going to Scarborough Station or there were no scheduled pick ups, he was able to keep on time. Kudos to him.

OurBus Ottawa Toronto recent customer reviews
Departure and arrival were late, but it was mostly due to traffic, so I can't fault anyone for that. The driver did not come to the proper pickup location even though he ended up driving right by it to turn around once we were loaded. Even sitting in the middle of the bus, it smelled strongly like an outhouse whenever anyone used the toilet. The outlets and Wifi were non-functional.

Tracy D.
smelled really bad because of the toilet and there was an hour delay which wasn’t necessarily the bus’ fault, but the driver pulled over to the side of the road on the highway which was a bit confusing and scary. Otherwise, the bus driver waited for late passengers which was nice and I liked the 20 minute break stop

Sammie K.
There was a loose component on the bus that caused a banging sound whenever we were in motion. Lasted the whole ride
Customers generally express satisfaction with the ease of booking and overall travel experience, highlighting friendly and professional drivers. However, there are recurring mentions of buses being late or lacking amenities such as WiFi and charging sockets. Some reviews also note issues like loud music from drivers or inadequate communication during delays.

Our trip for 10:00 am was canceled at 2:00 am at night for „unforeseen circumstances“ so we had to scramble to find a new bus with a different company in the morning. Extremely short notice and no alternative trip or customer service available from the company. Extremely dissatisfied.
