Hey good morning the Ontario northlands is doing a great job
Helping passengers get to there destination on time it's a great travel experience and adventure thanks again for your great service
Was alright when purchasing tickets usually i have no issues when i have bought tickets before various times, but ive never had a late bus and i suppose things happen along the way
Bus didn't have wifi but we were properly warned that might be the case. The driver didn't know that it wasn't equipped, but he did tell folks the network would be the 4 digit bus number and if that wasn't there, there wasn't wifi to be had. Which is fine.
Ontario Northland customer service was great. The trip was missed due to incorrect information at the purchase site. Pick up was listed at the Legion. It is always at the A & W.
Your address for the bus station is not updated. As such, I was waiting on the address in my ticket. This was a wrong address so I missed the bus. When I called customer support they said I shouldn't have used third party to buy the ticket. I had to pay 50$ for a gas for friend of mine to drive me to Barrie (70km) just so I could catch a bus. Horrible experience
Ontario Northland has to know who they are jointly working .Busbad are scamining customers by hacking and missing leading Customers through web booking!
I had a great ride with Northland. The only thing I would recommend is to check if the bus is stopping at every little town. I didn’t know we were stopping at every little town and should’ve known with the length of the trip. In all it was eight hours and after one long flight in the middle of the night this was a tad too long for me. This was something that I should’ve checked before booking.
Very fast but I would like more information on where to get the bus exactly and when to change buses because it was my first time doing this and I was a bit confused.
Bus was overbooked said the driver, so we had to share seats. Even though 6 seats were blocked off at the front. I gave my seat so a mother and her 4 year old son could sit side by side, as there were only singles available.
Driver was very kind and professional. Attendant at Sudbury station was impatient and snappy with the customer in front of me and with me as well. He corrected his attitude after realizing I wouldn’t tolerate it. My first time using this service. Would still recommend.
Terrible company. There was no shelter at the Pembroke bus stop as the gaint tiger was closed and I was stuck outside in the freezing cold for over an hour. The driver told me I would be reimbursed if I called the complaint line but all they did tell me they would give me 10% of my ticket back, which they have not even done. I am extremely upset by how this trip was and I will not ever be traveling with northland again. There was no notice that it was going to be late and when I called the company while waiting at the bus stop they said they were unable to track the bus and they could not help me.
The 1pm bus was delayed until 2:45, there was a large group of people waiting outside in the cold. The 2pm was already there at 1pm waiting, rather than switching trips and having both buses experience a slight delay everyone with a 1pm ticket continued to wait in the cold while the 2pm bus loaded up. We weren't give a new time until 2:20. The frustrating part is our bus had already arrived and dropped passengers off I am not saying bus driver should skip her break but she could have at least told us how long it would be so we could go warm up. It's frankly cruel to treat people like this in the winter
The protests in ottawa caused me great difficulty in getting transportation to the via rail station to board the bus. Norm from the North Bay office was able to assist me meet the bus at an alternate pick up location. His assistance made our difficult trip home possible and we are very happy to be home because of him. Thanks again Norm and Northland!
