I came from Puerto Natales and was late. My seating neighbor wrote a message to a friend who was at the bus station in El Calafate. He informed the driver about our delay, so he waited for us! Great service, thanks a lot!
On lower level of the bus: No heating and it was very cold. The floor was wet when we got onto the bus but was flooded down one side by the time we arrived. As there is no where to store bags except on the floor, they got wet.
We specifically reserved seats 1 and 2 when we booked but the bus driver decided to allow 2 other passengers to occupy our reserved seats. He said all seats are free. Very disappointing. Also no one to unload bags on arrival. The baggage compartment was too high.
Overall pleasant experience with the bus and the drive itself, but it is ridiculous to have to tip the luggage handler both when getting in and getting off, just to be able to have the luggage on hold. I've already paid for the ticket, the pressure for double tips there is not appreciated
I was disappointed to arrive late as we had a 18 hrs bus on return so had to rush to catch the bus back which spoilt our day as we could not walk so far, it was 45 mins late on arrival!
Very accomodating. Our flight arrived early and the staff were more than happy to accomodate us on an earlier bus. This saved us waiting a few hours for the next bus. Lovely staff
I didn’t know the bud would pick me up at the airport so I rushed from the airport to El Calafate only to have the bud take me back to the airport before going to El Chalten. I would recommend showing a stop itinerary in the email confirmation.
We booked tickets online to have the seats assigned and selected #1 and 2 in the first row to enjoy the view. Someone took our seats and explained that the driver said there were no seat assignments. It was confusing given that some passengers followed their seat assignments printed on their tickets while some didn’t respect that based on the directions from the driver.
The bus far exceeded our expectations. The seats were very comfortable and even had foot rests! Huge windows to see the views and we loved the fact that it had two floors.
The bus was very late and the staff of Taqsa had no interest in informing the traveller or reassuring them. When the bus finally arrived I had to request excuses.
Very good, luxury bus. Good seats and clean.
No announcements in the bus to welcome and tell some info about the trip. toilet has no toilet paper, the coffee machine was without coffee.
Bus was crazy hot. Need to run The A/C. Also, get rid of the TV screen. Hit my head on it 3 times. No problem that the bus was late, but the arrival time should be more realistic. There is no way the bus was going to arrive at 3:10 like it said on our ticket. Please give a realistic estimate of arrival.
Just one observation, the guy putting in the luggage said he isn’t getting paid and needs tips. I paid but if this is correct, I think it is unfair they are not getting a wage?
We were told to stand at one end of the bus park and our bus came to the other. We watched it drive away! The Information staff called it back to get us. We were happy it came back!
