After an initial communication that the bus would be running an hour late, there were no further messages. I am a pensioner travelling on my own and when several phone calls to the office revealed that the bus would be at least 2.5 hours late I decided to abandon the trip. I was not prepared to wait at a garage on my own for an unknown period and arrive in Cape Town late at night.
