Bus from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town: Tickets & Timetables

It was on time, very comfortable but abit dirty though n the drivers were so polite

There is nothing i enjoyed about the trip the fact that we had to wait for a mechanic for 2hrs and the slim driver was so mean when we told him the tryer burst

I pay cash for my kid 2 year they didn't give change back they say they don't have

It was not cold at night and driver checks up on passengers frequently while driving safely

The trip was going fine until we reached Knysna were someone throw a stone and broke the back window, we had to wait somewhere there for the whole 2 hours without any explanation from the driver we had to ask him why are we waiting then He explained that we waiting for a mechanic He only brought the cupboards to close the whole on the window and i don’t know why it took so long

That was the worst trip ever, bus delayed with 8hours. The communication is very poor

Well although we arrived an hour early which was good but the hygiene of the bus was really disgusting there was cockroaches everywhere which the bus company needs to take into consideration

Drop off was 3 hours late in Cape Town. This caused huge cost from my side by missing my appointments. Not Intercity's fault but toilet overflowed and entire bathroom covered in human waste.

Well my first impression was getting charging slot next to my comfort seat what i did not enjoy is that the was no Wi-Fi at the bus even thou it was mentioned

This was the worse service I ever had. The bus was late by more than an hour and departed after two hours. There was a lot of commotion in the bus with people having to stand in the passage due to over booking. I have decided not to ride with the bus again.

This was the worst bus trip of my life and I take a lot of bus rides. It was over packed. It was dirty. It stunk of urine! We felt like sardines. And it was 2 hours late. There was supposed to be charging ports but there weren't. The absolute worst!

The drivers we very friendly and kind but what I didn’t like is the fact that the bus was late and no form of communication was provided to us as passages for some of us were suppose to be at a job interview in time but missed the interview due to lateness of the bus

So first off, amp is pretty cost effective, which is great. But here’s the thing, the bus was one hour and didnt send out a notification to say that they are delayed. But they did make up for it by being on time despite the delay, which was impressive. But the biggest problem that I have is that there were multiple small cockroaches on the seats and floor of the bus. It was incredibly disgusting, no matter how quick my ride was, I have to take into account that it is unacceptable for a bus to have cockroaches

Bus was supposed to depart at 17:10, a message came to say it is delayed and will only depart at 20:10. The bus didn't arrive at that time, no further updates, no one picked up the phone when we followed up. Passenger gave up at 22:00 and left. Unacceptable situation.

The bus was 3 hours late for pick up and they kept sending messages of delays that most people on the station were saying it's a norm. I was late for my appointment because of that.

I'm very disappointed on greyhound it did not arrive on time on port elizabeth it arrived after 4 hrs and we went back to to take other people who we stuck and we were using another bus i was late for my appointment at cape town that means i waisted money bad service with greyhound

The trip was generally good. However, a few USB ports were not working, which was disappointing as reliable USB access is one of the reasons people choose your coaches. This time, unfortunately, they didn’t meet expectations. Additionally, I’d like to suggest the following improvements: Driver Communication: Please ensure drivers are mindful when speaking to passengers. Some customers only understand English and may not follow conversations in Xhosa. Temperature Control: The bus was too warm. It would be helpful if the driver could adjust the heater more appropriately especially when the coach is in full capacity.

The experience was actually nice,the bus was nice & warm and it arrived at the expected time for departure & arrival. The only issue was spotting a few cockroaches.

The bus was on time and very clean. Only thing if the drivers can try and be friendly with the passengers instead of shouting when addressing something otherwise 5 star from me👍🏽

God I wll never take ilula bus even if it’s the last company on earth I wll prefer walking to eastern cape

Buscame to the station 2 hours late and no sms or anything to apologize for that, secondly the speed the driver took everyone was crying on the bus till my sister went to complain with few people who got sick of what he was doing but nothing has changed we just happy we made it out, bear in mind were still in shock of the DMJ bus now this yhoo totally dissapointed

The bus didn't arrive had to sleep at the bus station with a 3 month old baby
