The service was on time and it was ok, but then all of a sudden they stoped after 3 hours we have left Buenos Aires(in a 17 hour flight) for people to have coffee and stretch their legs(¿?), that delayed my arrival time an hour.
Very comfortable recliner seats, with support for resting legs. The USB charging ports were broken on several seats, and I had to hunt for an unoccupied seat to find a port that would work. Overall, I would recommend. Always better to see a country by land, if one has the time.
The bus was clean and comfortable, the staff efficient and friendly and the journey very pleasant however there was a fault with the air-conditioning on the bus and myself and another passenger had oil dripping from overhead all over our seats - my shorts are now stained (ruined). There was no one to report this too.
Very nice and clean bus. Seats lay back and were comfy. They played movies for the trip, in which some were actually in English. It would have been nicer if we had water or drinks offered.
We were sold a ticket under the impression it was from Buenos Aires but in fact it was from a small town over an hour away so we’re unable to board the bus we were not told about this when purchasing the ticket
This is my first trip with Via Bariloche, I have used Singer and Crucero del Norte on the same route.
I chose them because although the fare was higher, the bus was a super executivo, so fully reclining seats and a better level of comfort trim (usb points etc).
The bus was clean and well presented. I would use them again.
We arrived at the station at 1 p.m. The girl at the reception told us that there was a problem and that it was not possible to buy a bus ticket for the bus at 14 from her but to pay the driver in cash. I asked her explicitly if she was sure it was okay and that there would be places and she replied that there was no problem. When the bus arrived the driver was rude, shouted and refused to pick us up. For no apparent reason, to the number of people who came after us the driver let pay in cash and get on the bus. Only we are not! We were stuck for 3 hours until the next bus and only then did the girl at the counter tell us that it was possible to buy a ticket online. We burned 3 hours, a lot of money (bought online and not in cash, stored things for 3 hours, etc.). And we were late for our destination, which completely ruined ours today !! Instead of lunch we only arrived in the evening, everything closed and we delivered nothing! Which hurt us even the day after. And all because of the misinformation we received and the shocking attitude of the driver who shouted rudely and did not listen to anything. Very disappointed!
Bus was great. New, comfortable, and the A/C and personal lights worked. The bus was late only because of road construction and delays at Chilean customs.
The bus journey was smooth. The inside was clean and spacious and the staff were very nice. The overnight journey from Buenos Aires to Puerto Iguazú was comfortable too. Definitely recommend!
Comfortable bus. Excellent staff on the bus. Timetable very tight. Delays due to roadworks in Chile and delays at border. Luggage return in Bariloche chaotic although member of staff did his best.
This bus service has high potential but suffers from lack of attention to details. First of all, it arrived late for pickup. Then, it was dirty. The bathroom was filthy. And the people never were made to line up to board, it was a mess of people trying to enter first. Even the men cut in front of women. Nobody cared. What I like though, is that when we got off the bus, the driver was helpful in telling us where to go for the visa and bathrooms, that was very kind.
We were very pleased with the services. Our seats were comfortable and had a lot of space for legs. The crew was fast and efficient, despite the large number of passengers and border procedures.
Night bus from BA TO Mendoza. A lot more comfortable than expected big seats lots of legroom. Thought we may get a snack and a drink but got 2 full meals. Bus even arrived in Mendoza an hour ahead of schedule. Would definitely be happy to use this company/route again.
The worst bus company used by us in our 1-month trip through South America. Nasty personnel, very impolite (the bus attendant and I engaged in some swearing following a very rude gesture that he did towards me)... bottom line, we arrived late in Esquel and lost our bus to Chile, having to pay for a taxi to the border (we barely made it). But, nah, some people don't care about your time and efforts, they don't even bother to keep the bus clean.
Very modern comfortable bus! Clean, chairs could go back al most all the way, USB plugs, and freshly catered food! Definitely the best bus company we used in the whole of Argentina!
The booked "cama" was only "semi-cama". So a bit of a rip-off. No USB to charge, but hey. That's okay. The broken vent constantly blowing hot air at our seats and the leaking windows getting us wet and the mold over us not.
First time on a long haul bus, was quite nervous but really enjoyed it. It was long but not painful, comfortable seats and food was good enough. Staff was great. Thanks.
